Would love to see old beat up sleeper hot rods with new age drivetrains In them. Edited October 18, 2013 by Rustlestiltskin

DKilbourne
Because we're not Gas Monkey Garage? I like paint to look good too. Just not into the "petina" or whatever they call it.

vonrottes
Hah, my truck may not look the greatest, but I'll be DAMNED if I put a nice engine in a piece of crap. Besides mine is a good 50'er and its an ongoing wip.

RyM3rC
Kinda neat in a way, but old trucks are absolutely horrible to drive, let alone trying to do anything with that power.
LS_Sonoma
Op. I agree. Im contemplating a late sixties F100 with the coyote engine and max effort suspension/drivetrain. Body and interior will be left in whatever condition I buy it at plus safety devices. Pro-touring style.
PRD2BDF
I want to build a mid-70s Ford F100 (or 150 whatever it's called) and put a blower that sticks through the hood and drive it exactly as I found it minus the essential tuneups and fluid changes
Littleguy
Maybe you owning only pieces of crap and build one yourself?
SHIEF
I think its cool as long as they addressed the suspension to go with the engine. Some of you just don't get it.

John Bruh
Next year my c-10 build starts. I have a 03 cummins dually that was rolled onto its side (entire driveline is perfect), gonna swap the engine/trans/rear axle and do a twin set up with the stock charger and a s475. Scotty2Hotty
Not too many see the potential in a Truck. Lot of sub-frame work, steering set up, and fabrication go into making those older trucks perform. I'm surprised how fast mini-trucks died off.
