Slimpsy1647545505
Was just in Chillicothe and it's coming down like a mad man there. . . blizzard white and sticking. So will be interesting to see how it all spreads out.
spankis
Yea so far map shows the Snow/Ice line well below central ohio, but we're obviously still on the leading edge right now. I hope it holds steady and produces a defcon 5 no driving allowed snow emergency in the morning.

dakotart
I'd say 1.5-2 inches of snow near Slate Run Metro Park in Canal Winchester. Sleet/Freezing rain started at 11PM. Also, I have snow drifts over 8 inches next to the garage where there is usually none. Driveway likely has drifts over 15 inches.
LJ
About 3.5" in pickerington. Freezing rain started about

BigOxley
Just came home from Westerville to Grandview. The roads were fun if I wasn't around other cars. Max speed was 50mph before it got sketchy.

TurboGoKart
Played outside for a loooong time tonight. Highways were terrible!! Well, for normal vehicles anyways. 4WD and you're fine, mostly. Now the south end, that's another thing all together. At 2-3am, it was a sheet of ice. Two semis ran into each other on an on ramp, another one went in a large large ditch, box van spun out and stuck, multiple other vehicles stuck. Mostly from downtown and south it was a sheet of ice. Oh and snow. Yeah that too.
Rocky31186
Lol you people expect 8-10" in an hour? It's a 2 day storm. Never heard so many people complain about snowfall.
copperhead
Stringtown road had a 1" solid sheet of ice where it had been plowed at about 3am. Seriously, don't drive in this shit unless you have to. I'm not looking forward to going home from work at 7am (35 mile drive).
verse
Not very good out there, drove from Grove City to Gahanna. Roads weren't cleared very well at about 6AM, the ones that were plowed were pretty slippery.
Gergwheel1647545492
Main roads are fine, all the side streets I had to take were garbage, totally untouched.

Buck531
Plow trucks decided to roll a 4' boulder of snow right in the middle of the end of the driveway. Suck. At least I have a snow blower I can try to use (if the belt doesn't come off). kids off, wife's work closed. I'm working from home. F it. justinwebb
yea no kidding! I even texted my manager just to check I'm going in a few hours late with some sob story on how I got stuck 4 times and had to dig the car out and push out an old lady and rescued an eagle from a bear but showed up since it's good for the company. Then take a 2 hr lunch at the Kilt and drink it up and come back to work then go home a bit later. Gotta stick it to the man when you can. Zx2guy19
Took a snow day myself. Driving from Hilliard to Canal wasn't worth the risk. My boss agreed. Apparently over 100 people called off from our 450 person facility.
