Nick is a dopplar specialist. He'll keep us informed on up to the minute weather changes. I trust him more than the news

yeah going off of the 10 day forecast is about as good as... well its not very good. Looking at the radar saturday night/sunday morning will tell us the truths... I love it when the radar they're showing contradicts their forecast. Its like hey dude, update your forecast!

Yes indeed. I always go by the doppler radar with the weather in motion. If there is no green coming over us, then it's all good, whether it's cloudy or not. A few people missed a beautiful day on a Hocking Hills trip we did because it said rain in the forecast. It was raining at 7am, by 9am when we left it was dry, and by 3pm it was beautiful. We took the chance because the green on the radar was at it's end while it was over us, so nothing was behind it.

E you have to ride with us more to be a contender..haha. :p;)

I know it happens... I have a choice to ride with the cincy crew or the Dayton crew.... I hate to say it but I rode with the cincy crew a lot. But I will reinstate my presance this year :D

Well you can really be a switch hitter if you want, you're pretty much right in the middle of the two...

Alright so I checked some maps and figure that yeah, it may be a bit of a ride to get out to Dayton, but living in Columbus means I've got about an hour ride to hit the twisties no matter where I go (Hocking, Coshocton), so the extra 20 or so miles to Dayton won't kill me :D

However, now that I've decided I wanna do this, I can almost promise that I'll be working 6am-2pm on Sunday. I won't know until late thursday/early friday though, so I'll post back here once I know. Maybe if I'm lucky I'll get out at 10 if I do work, and can meet you guys somewhere along your route...but here's hoping that won't be needed.

It's likely, our only girl last year crashed so she's MIA thus far.

whatda ya gotta go and tell her that for? are you trying to scare her off?

my *cough*ex*cough* girlfriend is going to be with me this weekend, so maybe I'll see if she wants to ride bitch with me instead of ditching her when I leave for this. that way you wouldn't be the only girl.. ?

 she crashed during a group ride with Y'ALL...??

Lol well I wasn't on that particular ride. It was late in the year...But I suppose it was on a group ride..yes.

She's one of our moderators, ninjachk08.

Don't be scared off we all ride within our limits it was just a fluke...no one did anything to make her wreck it just happened...She wasn't hurt, except for a scape or two and mostly her ego I think...

Sorry if I'm pissing you off Danielle, you know I'm not meaning to...

That was our only incident. It was just an accident with only a group of 6-8 riders I think. She was in the very back, last in line, and she came over this little hill with a blind turn at the bottom of it and she low sided into the ditch.

You'll be alright Chickon2.

And When those of us in the middle of the pack realized she wasnt behind us, we turned around, to find her. She already had 911 on call. I still cant believe she climbed out of that ditch on her own and was strong enough to call for help

well darn, not getting the traxxion yet, but it will still be fun. I had never played with my suspension settings before, and now everything is different. It feels a lot better adjusted to fit me. It just never ocured to me, that the person before me weighed only 135 lbsand that makes a huge difference. (I'm almost 250) :)
