Linn1647545492 Posted July 21, 2014 Author Report Share Posted July 21, 2014 Well, I had a bit of a set back and had to pull the motor only to just put it back in. I forgot to install the block off plate when I removed the Corsa exhaust. Well the motor is back in and I made some progress this weekend. Cleaned up all the wiring, mounted the Mercathode to the transom, mounted and installed the intercooler, fit the intercooler piping and got both pipes ready for powder coating. I still have to mount and run all the lines for the catch can, intercooler dump, finish the headers and powder coat a few things. Problem is mercury doesn't make anything worth a damn that's middle of the pack. The XR bravos are a little stronger but unless you step up to a #6 it's scary with anything over 600 to the prop. This thread is making me want to redo my motor for some more speed, but this damn boat shit is too expensive . Better off buying a bigger boat with the bigger power in it! It should fire tonight, I have a few things I want to change with the fuel delivery and I still need to install the catch can a long with my boost and wideband gauge. I can't wait to hear it run. My next boat will come with bigger power, it's so much work to change anything on a boat, everything feel likes it's a custom and I find myself redoing and moving things around a lot of they have already been installed.
