buelliganx1
That was back when that guy that had that crazy 69 Camaro that had been both narrowed and shortened was running about every time I was there. I can still remember that he had hemp rope around the windshield instead of chrome. Never knew what to make of that car. lol
buelliganx1
Should post up more if you have them. I dont have any more of the bridge but I do have some of the staging lines and people making run's. It's interesting to see what people were running back then. I'll work on getting some more posted up soon.

OJdidit1738
I remember that, as well as the playground and standing on top of the tower watching racing

Real racers put him in the show car category. Think I was about 12 lol

-Alex-
I had forgotten about it, but I now remember walking through it as a kid. I'm 27 now, when did they remove it, and why?
nismopc
Is that a Dodge omni in the last pic? awesome. Possibly a Omni GLH 16.7 second quarter mile or Omni GLH-S 14.8 second quarter mile

blacksunshine
I remember the bridge. One side, at the bottom, read, "Only the strong shall survive". If I ever see a picture of it, I'd like to recreate it on a banner for garage art.
