Where's your old car?

I was checking my Facebook timeline yesterday and noticed this random picture:

After a bit of clicking around FB through the people linked I was able to confirm the silver T/A is my old car. Damn I miss it!

I thought it was pretty cool to share. Anyone else have a chance encounter with a car you owned years ago?

I sold my bike about a year ago, and it somehow ended up in Egypt. I was talking with the owner a month ago when he posted a picture of it on a Facebook page. It is somewhat of a rare bike is the only reason i would think someone would want to pay to import one to a different country

I stripped my first car- the 3rd highest HP Escort ZX2 ever built (yeah, I'm a bad ass) down to nothing and gave the shell away for free. It was then given to a kid in Toledo where he has completed resurrected the car back to a functioning car.

I stripped the car down to literally nothing...no wiring harness, no windows, nothing. I sent the dude a FB message a few months ago saying if he ever sold it I'd buy it back.

My brother and I just saw his old car at the Sonic meet last week. He was just talking about how he missed the car and wanted another because the one we were looking at looked good (lowered with different rims now) then he got to looking at it and it was his old car. I see a couple of his old ones floating around on Ohio dsm occasionally as well. My brothers first car though was something of a rare car, we see it come up on craigslist now and again.

my 1995 jeep? at the body shop at the moment, but 20 years and still counting.

my 1987 Cherokee 2 door Laredo? probably a beer can by now. Traded to the dealer for the 1995 wrangler and sent to auction (who wants a 2 door blue xj cherokee with 141000 miles and an AM radio to sit on a lot?).

my 1967 Chevelle SS? last time I saw it, it was a coffee table in Flushing, Queens. Damn hit and run drunk drivers.

1995 Blazer? who knows - traded to dealer on a 1999 2 door Tahoe sport in 1999. Probably a beer can by now.

1967 GTO: Still in my brother's garage in NY, sleeping. He let me facetime with it last week.

1967 Buick GS340? sitting in a storage lot in syosett, NY and has been since I sold it 5 years ago.

1967 Tempest 4 door OHC six - sold it to a buddy, who sold it to a girl, who daily drove it for a couple of years and then sold it in upstate ny in 2011. Haven't seen it since.

1957 fuelie 3 speed "duntov special" corvette - sold to my father in 1998. Currently sitting at a shop in NY waiting to get painted. again.

other various cars I didn't care enough about to remember like my corvair, extremely rusty 1971 El Camino, 1977 Bandit T/A? who knows. Two of them were barely running projects, and there are a number of flip cars I don't even remember at the moment.

My dad gave me his 74 Oldsmobile 442. He bought it when he got back from Vietnam. It was lime green with white stripes. It needed too much work at the time and I needed money so I sold it. I've searched for it several times but can't find it. Wish I knew where it was.

I plug in the VIN of my old MINI now and then. It is still down near Cincy where I traded it in back in 2011 with 51K miles. It now appears to be up over 80K miles and sold for around 11 grand. Just someones clapped out commuter. Probably still sitting on the rusty crap BC coilovers I had on it

Sitting in a barn. Hasn't been moved since I was 14 years old and learned how to drive stick on it.http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b452/LucoreRacing/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20150430_155228_224_zpscjnmryms.jpg

would you consider giving that to me as a form of mercy and charity if I promise to get it running and turn it into a street legal vintage rally car? Seems a shame to just let it sit in the barn.... Will Work for Volvo :p

My srt4 last time i heard was in chicago. I know this because brian turner called me, said he got a call from the buyer asking about the car since he found a dyno sheet in it. Brian told him it was a race slut that was abused to hell and back. Guy probably had a bad day and was not expecting that response

Where my other 15 cars are at who the heck knows.

Sold my Z28 to Steve R, who moved to South Carolina and sold it to someone else. One of my GTP's went to Toledo, the other to Michigan. My Silverado also went to Michigan. My K5 went to Pennsylvania I think. My first S10 got sold for parts, my Celebrity was junked years ago. I sold my Regal to a friend, who wrecked it multiple times and sold it.

Back in 2008ish I sold my 2000 S10 Xtreme to some kid locally, and I've seen it three different times on craigslist over the years since then. Every time it's been posted it had more and more shit fucked up with it. It's a shame how much people ruined that truck

Like many others, I've had 20+ cars and all have taken different paths. The saddest is my Z06, which was driven to Houston then wrapped around a pole a month later. The happiest is probably my yellow '03 Cobra, guy in Madison has it and recently made 900+ whp.

My first car was a 91 Festiva, I totaled that it went for scrap.

The 1991 Sonoma I got my Senior year in high school and kissed my wife for the first time in I sold, last I checked it was still in Ohio. I want that truck back.

My 1998 S10 was traded in for my wife's Impala after I got the Camaro, it was totalled by someone and is gone. :(

My other s10s were all used up and I junked them.

My 91 Miata was ragged out and sold to Pat Burke. It may still be around but it was pretty rough. My 2004 Miata I just sold to some young guy out near Dayton.

Once we wrap up the Subarus she's going under the knife. Still unsure exactly what direction I'll be taking her, many MANY options that are available. :)
