Clifford Automotive
http://www.freezeframe.photo/Browse/Other/Shared/n-KrZxDQ/i-MsGLPNN/ASo some of you know me, some of you do not. My name is Kevin Clifford and I own Clifford Automotive LLC. I deal with clientele from all over central Ohio, from car collectors in Delaware, Company Fleet vehicles, Dealers, Service Shops, or a guy who just need a bumper cover scratch fixed. I'm a 1.5 man shop, for the reason being I can control the level of expectation my customers want. If I don't like it, it doesn't leave. While sometimes communication may be short on my end dealing with initial contact. This is the problem of being a one man show. Other issue that arise from being a one man shop, is being at the shop during full business hours. My days start at 7am and ends around 9pm on a daily basis. Unfortunately only half of that time it seems is spent at the shop. Here's some of what I work on... http://www.freezeframe.photo/Browse/Other/Shared/n-KrZxDQ/i-MsGLPNN/A 2009 Jeep Patriot. I've documented improper previous repairs, that lead to the extent of damage in this accident. http://www.freezeframe.photo/photos/i-MsGLPNN/0/M/i-MsGLPNN-M.jpg 2011 International from Capital Towing, one of my fleet accounts. Truck was in for paint spots and full exterior detail. And I mean FULL! http://www.freezeframe.photo/photos/i-hPKkqMM/0/M/i-hPKkqMM-M.jpg Simple hood refinish on a Ranger, just left 2 hours ago. http://www.freezeframe.photo/photos/i-FxQMbDR/0/M/i-FxQMbDR-M.jpg Parking lot fix and new customer. Prior shop recommended replacing the hood with full blends. Reshaped the hood by hand and sent David on his way in less the 10 mins. http://www.freezeframe.photo/photos/i-qqjMQ3p/0/M/i-qqjMQ3p-M.jpg Returning customer, vehicle was backed over by SUV. Repairing hood, replacing front cover and full blends. http://www.freezeframe.photo/photos/i-vfVXds5/0/M/i-vfVXds5-M.jpg My best method of contact is my cell phone. 614.806.4497 If you dont get an answer leave a message or send a text. Clifford Automotive
 How often do you drive that beautiful IROC? Never. I put 20 miles on it about a month ago. It needs washed and the cover put back on it!
TTQ B4U
Quality work at a fair price all while supporting a local! Kevin saved me several years back by replacing a rocker panel on my Speed 3 that fell into sink hole filled with water disguised as a shallow puddle. Estimates from other places were in the $500-600 range. Kevin found me a like new part from a pick-n-pull, sprayed the tri-color pearl to a perfect match and had me on my way in a matter of a couple days for a fraction of the price.
Mensan
Kevin repaired my Sonata TWICE. The first time my son wrecked it while I was out of town. The effort to get it repaired was coordinated from Japan. Even from so far away I had no issues communicating with him. He was stellar the entire time. The second time was when my girlfriend hit our garage door. I only came back to Columbus for a limited time, but Kevin got the car fixed while I was in town. He managed his schedule around my needs. Plus he's just a cool guy.
Forrest Gump 9
The silver Porsche is mine. I bought with a dent in the upper middle of the hood. Most people don't see it but I know it there. The dent was caused by the hood closed on a battery charger. That also resulted with the passenger side of the hood have a raise gap from 1/4" to 3/8". I went to three different places with three very different quotes, ranges from $1400-$2200. Two places want to replace with new hood. I went to Kevin place today on a whim, never met the guy but heard about his praise and work here on CR. He spent about ten minutes with my car and fixed the gap problem. I was just hoping for a quote. He did such a good job that I think I can "live with it" for now. Oh yeah, he didn't even charge me. Definitely coming back to him for body work from now on. Thank you Kevin. You are awesome man!
Not Brian
You should have another open house like the July 4th thing you did 7-8 years ago.
Clifford Automotive
Thanks Eli! The end of every conversations always go something like " I hope I never have to see you again" It's always great to catch up with returning customers. Nice to meet you today David! Beautiful car! Brian I'm working on something like that now. I loved having the 4th on Broad St. I do miss certain things about that building.
spankis
I'll likely be reaching out to you about some rust bubbling above rear fender of my 07 Ram... I'm hoping new bedsides isn't the only real solution
Clifford Automotive
One thing I didn't mention is I used to be highly involved with this board and community. I've had 2 major life changing events in the last 4.5 years and that's lead to my slow drop in participation. The 2 events were my 2 kids. I put them before everything including my business. I live my life one day at a time, and if I wake up tomorrow and want to hang out with my kids I simply don't go in. Now this is based on work load in the Shop not just "screw all the cars and people" Im hanging with my kids. I work crazy hours as mentioned. I've had customers drop cars off or pick up at midnight. I've spoke with customers at 1am (Eli) to give updates on Insurance work because he was overseas and it fit his schedule. Ive work weekends to keep customers out of rental cars. Maybe around fall I'll get some barrel fires burning and have everyone out for an evening. I might need some work done on my bumper. You'll be the first contact when I finally get regular pay

TTQ B4U
Had Kevin install an RS4 Grill on my car. In and out in less than a lunch hour and had some quality catch up time with him. Thumbs up all the way. http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj84/crms3er/DSC00543_zpsrp668xzt.jpg Edited July 23, 2015 by TTQ B4U

Clifford Automotive
Cody let me know when you're ready. I will constantly be posting in this thread from here on out. Great to catch up with you Tim. One thing I enjoy is when people are available to hang out at the shop for a bit. Keeps me sane. Aaron, does it have the large holes cut out of it? I'll shoot you a PM. Need color info and such.

SpaceGhost
Just had some serious body work done to my Mom's Prius and a full detail. When we came back for the car and I brought my mom, her first reaction was "That's my car?! Wow!" And dude was patient as hell with my little heathens carrying on in the shop while he worked on the estimate.
Flybye
Are you interested in doing some finish work or paint correction? I had a car painted that needs a proper wetsand and buff. Many fish eyes and flaws that I would like to try and get out.
Clifford Automotive
Bring it by sometime and we can go over the car together and see what we can do to it. I've had pretty good luck wetsanding other peoplea paint work. But I'll tell you up front if I didn't paint it I don't know how thick it is. In saying that I've broke through clear because it was too thin.

I was just curious if it was something you would consider.
