Lauren Posted December 19, 2015 Author Report Share Posted December 19, 2015 I love it. There is enough power to pass people at ease in town or freeway. It fits the wife and two girls in car seats and our boxer comfortably. The heated seats are nice and it has heated mirrors for when it snows haha. I went through a lot of cars this year and this is by far my favorite. It will be sticking around awhile. I plan to flush the trans and diff and change filter but now just enjoy it. It runs flawless. No leaking oil or burning. Now weird ticks. Runs hard and lights the tires up through first haha. The tune is needed for these 1.8t's. Lauren Posted January 14, 2016 Author Report Share Posted January 14, 2016 So I picked up a Passat sedan that's a manual. Using it as my parts car and doing a 5 speed manual swap on the wagon. I'm going to use the trans and covert to black interior since my wagon has tan. I sold the door weather stripping, headlights and taillights and I've already recouped $300 of what I'm Into it for. So I will end up making money and getting a free manual trans swap. I think I'll be able to do it. And about offering, it's a used Passat with a bad engine. Most people do not want to fix them. He could have countered my offer but he did t he took it. Lucky me!
