Dumb question, but do you have to order personalized historical tags online ahead of time, or can you pick something when you're getting plates at the BMV and they'll mail them to you?

Buck, I love it. Great little fixes on the car and that powertrain should be badass when it's done!

Eric had 87 GT on his normal plates. He filled out the form to release he plates (name) to me. When I went to the BMV to do the title work I had them order me the historical personalized plates. The plate was mailed to me about 1-2 weeks later.

I don't think so. I've been driving it to work for quite a while no one has said anything.

I don't think that they really keep up on how many miles you actually drive a year lol. I just thought it was weird that they would charge a yearly renewal for personalized historical tags instead of just more on the one time fee.

Welp had the test fit tonight to make sure the wiring harness was long enough for the PCM connections.

Tomorrow I'm going to drop the fuel tank and put the walbro 255 in. Then head to jegs for some header wrap and some AN fittings of the fuel lines.

I'm "planning/hoping/whatever" to have it possibly started by Saturday/Sunday. We'll see.

Well being sick the last week and a half sucked the life out of me. Haven't done much.

Wrapped the headers, sorta fixed the cross over and now I need to have someone weld a vband flange onto it.

Also loomed up some of the harness. Got the correct axle for the passenger side. Surprisingly enough a manual fiero axle from the drivers side works perfect in the trans on the passenger side.

Also cut out the trunk for the headers/muffler.

The one main thing left to do is drop the fuel tank and change the fuel pump. I should have enough energy to do that on Saturday.

Got the tank dropped and replaced the pump with a Walbro 255.

It is odd being able to sit on a creeper in the middle of where your engine goes.

I'm hoping to have the subframe dropped in and possibly having it started on Saturday or Sunday. We'll see about that one.

Welp. It's been sitting since the last time I posted here. The trans is now stuck in 3rd gear while in Drive or D3. If I put it in 2nd gear I can have 2nd but it won't see 1st or 4th gear. Been through everything. About to burn the piece of shit and trash it. This is beyond frustrating. There are no codes being thrown and I've verified every piece of wiring I can. I just don't know at this point. I need someone who's good with wiring and/or this trans to help me get it done.

I've ohmed the trans harness for the shift solenoid and I get a solid 22 ohms. The issue is that the 1-2 shift solenoid is stuck open? I can take the pin out of the PCM and ground it and can hear the solenoid click inside the trans. I just dropped the pan and replaced the fluid/filter and it's still the same. The trans has about 1k on the

rebuild and replaced all the solenoids too.

Blah!
