Can't wait to see the after shots Tim!

 

Was dark when I finished so real after shots will have to wait until the weather clears up Monday or Tuesday. I have the car through Wednesday so I should be able to get some.

 

It was hammered pretty badly so I took it to Microfiber for correction. Worked out really well with simple 2-step. David stopped by while I was working on it and I floored him by showing the roof which came out nearly perfect. All in all not bad for 21+ year old paint.

 

I'll finish up wiping it down and dressing all the trim in the morning.

I've made the decision that I'm going to steal this car. It's locked in my garage and I'm not letting it out.

 

Just needs the windows re-tinted and the interior cleaned up (actually it's not that bad).

 

Next year we can simple work to correct the Random Imperfections, Defects & Scratches aka RIDS and perhaps refine the polish where needed. Inside the doors is clean but could also use a detailing. All minor stuff.

 

Otherwise this car is sweet and brings me back to the 90's. The wheels are 100% perfect. Love them.

Interesting story on the car. Only 200 copies brought to the US in 3 years of production and the first to be sold under the AMG Nameplate. Very cool.

Sadly I have to return this car. Bringing it down to Cars and Coffee in the morning to meet up with David. I've had so many neighbors stop by asking it if was my new car as it's in my garage next to mine and the van has been sitting out. Definitely pretty cool.
