My main ride is a peppy 1981 Yamaha XS400, but I also have a Honda Helix scooter and a 1978 Yamaha XS 500 that I am attempting to get running and on the road.Looking forward to chatting with everybody and tapping into your knowlege of bikes and riding in Ohio!**I'm always down for a spin if anybody lives my way and wants to go for a ride. At this point it is only running with an inital spray of starting fluid, and I still need to redo the brakes and change the tires. Hopefuly by the end of summer it will be fully operational. I don't think they were very popular. I called Joe's Cycles in Dayton to ask about an air filter for it and the lady there said they carried them but didn't sell many of them back in the day. It was a $275 purchase. I thought it would be a fun way to learn how these machines work. I love the look of late 70's and 80's bikes.
