Tonik
Stopped at a light in Concord NH. Cop pulls up beside me and looks over. I tapped like hell on the top of my helmet. He lost it. Edited July 6 by Tonik 1
Tonik
Dover NH tonight. Dinner at Newiks Lobster House. If I am within a few hundred miles of this place I stop. It will be the best lobster you have ever had. Yes, it all comes on paper plates with plastic utensils. Deal.

I have the written warnings to prove it. 😆 Side note: NHSP are very polite.

Tonik
Foggy, very cool and damp slab ride to northern NS. We are parked for the night right next to where we grab the ferry in the morning. Wife was very uncool and would not let me repel off the 12th floor of yesterdays hotel.

Tonik
Ferry ride is done. Parked nearby at our hotel. Canada is weird. Newfoundland has a 30 minute time zone offset. As usual, cagers in the way getting off the ferry.

I am assuming you are doing the North Sydney to Aux Port Basque run. Try and get the midnight to 7 am ferry and get a cabin and sleep. If you don't you end up spending the night before nearby, ride the noon to 6 pm and basically drive to another hotel. The night run seems to sell out pretty far in advance so plan ahead. If you are doing North Sydney to St Johns that is 16 hours, so you damn well better get a cabin. We had to take the noon run. Still got a cabin. Well worth it, you can get away from everyone and have at sea sex. Food and whatnot is actually pretty good. There is a bar too. You will be tempted to get there early. Don't bother. Loading won't start until 90 minutes before departure. They want you there 2 hours ahead, so 2 hours and 1 minute is more than enough. Lots of people came well after the 2 hour warning. All in all, it was a very enjoyable time except tying down the bike. Their straps blew dead goats. The ratchets were corroded with salt and you had to fight them. Plus I had to do it twice, old French dude in front of me had no idea what he was doing. There are moose everywhere you look.
Tonik
Oh, and no matter what they say, the wireless Internet does not work at sea. It's always broke I was told. And it was a very calm ride. Honestly we probably didn't need to tie the bikes down.
Tonik
Parked for the night in St. John NL. Damn that was a long ass ride. Non stop amazing scenery, fucking moose everywhere. No pics, couldn't do the scenery justice. Tomorrow we hop on a boat early to go whale hunting.
