Viewfromthebackseat
I'm trying to decide if I should learn to ride myself.....people trying to talk me into it....just a little nervous!!
magley64
prepare for yes, learn to ride, it's way better than being a passenger, and you always have the option of going back if you prefer.

Lost1888
Hello!Take a MSF course. They will gladly help you get familiar with all the basics and teach you the skills you will need for your life of riding. If you want to take control of your own ride their is only one way to do it. It's all on you to make the first step and then the addiction follows. Have fun, Ride safe!

buildit
Welcome from the back seat. I'd encourage you to learn to ride even if you never intend to get your own bike. Simple reason is you will be a smarter and better passenger because you'll know why the driver is doing what they are doing. If you do get your own bike you'll hopefully learn the joys of group riding and even traveling by bike. +1 to taking the MSF course as a second step. Step one is to get some good gear if you havn't already.
SAMBUSA
If you are scared, dont try to ride on your own. You'll just end up getting hurt because of it. Take the MSF course and you'll lose the nervous feelings. ATGATT

KruelHouse
Welcome VFTBS!The MSF Course is probably the best move. Even if you decide not to ride, some of the stuff that you learn will make you a more conscious driver (and we could ALL use a few more informed drivers on the road).
