Whatever little man, give me a land yacht that I can launch as hard as I can without flippin' it then we'll see.

Better yet, lets make it completely fair....two riders....one bike. You pick the bike and we'll run it at the strip. Then when it comes down to the rider you can't talk your crap.

Bring it BOY!!!

But, shouldn't the elephant be a HOG in that one? And in chrome, and be annoying loud?

Ouch! :beating::bigfinger:

My vrod has minimal chrome and isn't quite that noisy. Besides, I ride further than just down to the local watering hole so I don't quite fit in with the orange & black, leather tassels with fringe crowd.

:lol: I've poked the troll too much. But, just to egg it on more...and because it's easier to do this from my keyboard :p

Your bike is 100lbs lighter than the couch, and you're probably a good 30lbs skinner than me, and your bike has a PC3 and exhaust, which means it's probably putting out the same or more hp than my stock 'busa.

So, stock busa, ZERO modifications - no straps, no tune, no nothing vs. 4 year newer, hopped up 1K, that's 130# (rider+bike) less. Your Power/weight has me pwned in the dept.

So you're telling me that the 2.8" difference in wheelbase (58.5 vs. 55.7) is the reason you were 0.3s slower? (I don't remember your trap speed)

don't think so young padawan

240's don't count in this thread. 180/190 discussion only for those of us that actually have to lean the bike to get rid of a chicken strip. that 240 has a contact patch wide enough that there is no room for a chicken strip.

These two are arguing drag racing in a thread about chicken strips.

:squid:

It's our forum duty to derail threads. What keyboard have you been hiding under!?!

Now, Justin. You know full well all things being equal (since you seem to think our bikes are) you can have two 10 second cars and the one that can hookup will just about always win in a drag race. It's won or lost in the first 60'. But you are missing the point it appears.

:popcorn:

What was this thread about again? :rolleyes:
