standout
i just bought a trailer and have a bill of sale but need to get it weighed before i can get plates. My question is where. From there web-site there are no official bmv weigh stations in franklin or fairfield county. I have found Capitol City Trailers 3960 Groveport Rd. Columbus, OH 43207andWabash National Trailer Centers 1525 Georgeville Rd. Columbus, OH 43228I also read that u can take it to places they weigh like grain feed and stuff. Has anyone used either of these two places or can point me in the direction of the closest acceptable place to reynoldsburg
chevysoldier
I got my trailer weighed at a truck weigh station in Cali. The army needed a weight so they could pay be for my move back to Ohio.

MidgetTodd
Truck stops, Gravel quarrys, Feed stores, Grain mills. Pretty much anywhere with a scale. I use Elm recycling in Newark on rt13.

palandor
There's a Phillips Gravel company near me that has scales. It's $15.I"m not sure where you bought your trailer from, but my story is that I got mine from Harbor Freight. Long story short, They sent me a bill of sale with the shipping weight and the VIN, and I used the Bill of Sale plus the Certificate of Origin (which didn't have shipping weight on it) to get my plates.
