I thought the lady at my class told us that our new license would say M-Novice for the first year, indicating I am required to wear my helmet. After the first year, she said I could go have it removed. My new license does not say Novice. Anyone know if it was an error at the BMV, or if I misunderstood what the lady told me in class?
