That's one of the main reasons I've cleaned and waxed mine.I've cleaned and waxed my jacket once a week until I have to store it for winter.Be careful with the jacket, since the material is not smooth enough and is more porous then plastic and metal, on hot days the wax can build up from the heat. If it runs down to your hands can cause you to have issues witht he controls. And if you lay your jacket on the seat you now have a wax seat. Only armoral can get it off.For the Jacket I use a Mink Oil to keep it clean, shiny (for the wind drag), and it also can help water resistance on that rare stuck in the rain occasion.
