Really sick of political threads

As a sponsor of a motorcycle site id much rather see more motorcycle related post's. We all know Jrmmiii and fusion would gladly swallow obama's load and several others on here would take it up the ass from Mcain. If you want to argue politics i just think it should be done elsewhere. Sorry for the rant maybe its just all the political ad bullshit i have to keep watching on tv but its getting old real quick

LOL! This is a community, and there IS a section for politics. Just ignore the political stuff. We're motorcyclists, but for most of us, thats not all we are.

If the section was removed, then the arguments would be started in random threads. It is in its own sub section beyond just off topic. It is off topic by the way, motorcycle threads are pretty much against the rules in this thread. I think its everything else going on that is the real bother, not off topic threads that are truly elsewhere in a different sub section.

No i switched to waterborne years ago. 85% less voc's per the forecoming EPA regulations

Agreed. Fusion and Jrmi are homos, but not the good kind like Sam and Fonzie. Just ignore them and the political threads.

Other VB forums I'm on simply put these topics in user groups. You have to enable them (join) for them to appear. As for the OP, before you get riled to the point of resorting to personal attacks, try this:

If there are particular members that bother you and you do not want to see their posts or receive Private Messages and Emails from them, then you can add these members to your 'Ignore List'. There are several ways to do this:

Through your User Control Panel: User CP, Settings & Options, Edit Ignore List. Then, type their name into the empty text box and click 'Okay'.

I don't have anyone blocked, even fusion and JRMiii. . Blocking can make a thread kind of confusing to read.
