Anyone Ever Apply For A Title On A Previously Untitled Bike?

I have a track bike that I bought a couple years ago that has no title. At this point I'd like to title it and put lights back on so I can have a second street bike. Has anyone done this recently? I know Ohio makes this more difficult in years past and I wonder if it's even possible.

Has anyone successfully applied for a title?

If not, is my only other option buying a frame with a title and switching everything over? I'd really rather not do this so if anyone has any advice or ideas I'd love to hear it.

I do believe there is a thread already with almost the exact same title. Should be able to find it using the search.
