SWing'R Posted January 14, 2011 Report Share Posted January 14, 2011 (edited) I can't remember all the years right now, but here are some of the cars I owned...- Chevy Chevette (1st car, 16 or 17yrs old, no pwr steering or brakes, fun)- '77 Chevy Mailibu Classic (given to me by my grandma in '86 when I went to college)- '88? Dodge Ram50 Pickup (my one and only pickup)- '92? Plymouth Sundance America (my 1st 5speed)Had many others can't remember them all at this time, not to mention the cars wehad together once getting married.The Malibu was an awesome car, 8cylinder 305 engine with 30K miles on it, when I got it from grandma it was slow, lots of carbon buildup from the driving to church and back home for 10years! It wouldn't even spin the tires gunning it from a stop turning right, that is until I drove it HARD for about a week or two blowing all the crap out of it, then it would smoke BOTH tires from a stop pulling away straight! The speedo stopped at 120mph, I once buried it well beyond that on 71 and the thing was just a purrin along smooth as can be. Damn I miss that car. Only drawback was it was the color, a puke light green.I has some pics I can dig up later of some of these. Engine siezed onthe freeway - cost to tow was more than the care was worth so I signed it over to a junkyard as-is where-is for free.1981 Volvo 244DL (UK) Had for 3 years until I emigrated to the US.1995 Ford Taurus GL. Had for 3 years, traded for...1996 Nissan Maxima SE 5spd. Had for 7 years. Sold privately.2005 Subaru Legacy GT Limited 5spd Turbo. I will drive this car until I die. And with AWD 5spd and turbo, that could be next week. I also have an '87 Bronco that is an ongoing project, and my 2004 Suzuki Volusia for fun and commuting.
