We don't want to discourage new(er) riders. As long as you can at least do the speed limit and ride safely, we will wait for all riders at the next stop. Take a headcount, and keep going if you really wanted to come out.

This is my first real ride after the winter season, so I'm not going to be pushing my limits. I won't be on a sportsbike... I'll be on a girls bike (SV).

Well, you're welcome to come out, just be on time to the meet spot in Barnesville. To keep a schedule (and get me back to Cleveland before dark), I'd like to leave the meet spot in Barnesville no later than 11:30 (tanks full, kickstands up), preferably sooner if everyone who's anyone is there and ready to go.

I think I'll pass on this one. I don't like to take the slab if I don't have to (since the bike is so light and well...older), so it would be a loooooong day for me. I have a feeling I will be kept up late tonight; I don't want to be tired for that much riding. Definitely like to join in on another one though sometime. Btw, my parents both ride and they live up near you in Columbia Station.

I argee that the 2 hour slab to the meeting spot is a bit much for me. I am thinking about riding Hocking tomorrow afternoon. I live in Carroll so if anyone wants to meet up at the mcdonalds around 1ish let me know

Your going to miss some real good roads Its worth the slab time :D

Just a heads up on 536 it is in poor repair try 556 instead. You could do slab to 212 then take that to 151 to 9 down to 7 then 556 north to 78 to 800. Just a thought? I work tonight or I would try to make it but will not be home till 9 am. Be safe watch for troopers and leo...

Head on down to Hillsboro, OH and we can take 247 south for some nice twisty roads. If you would be up for it, we could head all the way down to the river and then run back up 125 to West Union and then take 41 up to Greenfield or Washington Court House and beyond.

Just saying.

If you are interested, let me know. I will be around and itching for a nice group ride.

Kinda my feeling too. I think I may do one of my favorite loops

in the opposite direction... 772, 73, 41

I've done this route a few times, took Moose and ReconRat down

it once and a few other guys another time.

Anyone wanna run this with me send me a pm, don't have any start

time planned, nothing in stone yet.

This route is nice and twisty with a slightly boring stretch getting there

and getting back, but not two hours on the slab.

I ride at a fun but civilized pace. Cruisers welcome.

I plan on doing a hocking run.

Waiting behind dozens and dozens of Harleys around every turn isn't my

idea of relaxing :o

Holiday weekend + nice weather = LOTS of Harleys out in Hocking

Sorry but I'll pass on that equation.

This is what I'm planning...

- 62 South from 270/Columbus to Washington Courthouse

- 41 South from Washington Courthouse to 73 East in Locust Grove

- 73 East to 772 North in Rarden to Chillicothe

- Left/West on 50 (Main St) in Chillicothe to 104 North

- 104 North back to Columbus
