He had some health issues over the last couple of years and his BMW that he bought a few years back was just too heavy of a bike for him anymore to ride daily. He sold it and bought a Piaggio MP3 500. I have never heard of them before but I looked them up and I have to say that they look pretty damn cool. I would definitely sport one. Here is a review from motorcycle.com and the thing looks like it can carve right through the twisties with no problem(except for the stand dragging a bit). It looks pretty wild and it seems like it has some pretty good performance for what it is.
