ama146
So if you are under these times are these tracks, you would be alright for racing?Nelson - 1:30Beaver - 1:10Grattan - 1:30 (?)Putnam - ???Mid-Ohio - 1:50 (?)Do those times seem close? Correct me if I'm wrong
blue03636
For motoseries, Todd has it as 120% of race times for your class outside of nelsons.beaver - 0:57-0:58 would be around 1:15'sgrattan - 1:20 maybe teens would be around 1:35'sand yes 1:30 for nelsons.I have no clue for times at mido or putnam. The math isn't 100% but these are time I have seen and appear to not have issues. ama146
Gotcha. I didn't see anywhere that had the race times listed so I couldn't do the math there. But thanks
blue03636
Those are just from what I have seen. The link to mylaps that rk posted would have all of the motoseries and wera numbers on it.
jbot
and i know this has been posted before, but don't get too too focused on the lap times. it is just as important to be consistent and smooth with good lines. When you're at the point where you're riding consistently and smoothly and with good lines, you will hit those times without issue.

standout
If its the same stuff in the automotive industry it's pretty easy. I just cut out and fiberglassed a pretty big cancer spot on my old ladies 02 explorer and I am no where near a body guy. Just be prepared for a lot of sanding. Aetsh
A suit is the biggie.. Gloves and boots.. Plus I've been losing weight steadily for a few months now, so I'm somewhat afraid to buy a suit then have it be too big on me
blue03636
Not sure how soon you want to get out but motoseries rents suits for $35. Save you from buying one until your done losing weight. I have seen Todd loan out gloves and boots too.

jbot
People who don't have a suit but want to do a track day, post your size. Maybe someone will have a spare. If not, it's pretty cheap to rent, so that shouldn't stop you from having a blast

redkow97
Shaun, bad324's suit would probably fit you. $550 ain't chump change, but it's not a bad price for what he's selling.

Moto-Brian
How much do you weigh and how tall are you brian?6'1" and 195.Some of the older suits are still 44 due to my height, but they are tight 44s back then and would probably fit a 42 guy well.
