ohiomike
The wife and I got back Saturday from a nice ride up to Traverse City and back. It was her first ride where she rode her own bike. Logged nearly 1000 miles. Once again I was reminded that TC is truly God's country. An old friend has a cottage on the southern tip of Torch Lake so we rode over for a visit. It was nice and cool up there even though the thermometer said it was in the 90's. Even considering the snow they get, that is the one spot in Michigan I would seriously consider moving to. I highly recommend it as a vacation spot if you love the water.
hue jass
Which cabins? How was the weather? Pretty much everything North of Bay City is heaven.
Mj 88
Everything north of 10 is nice. My wife's family has a home on long lake just off of 10 we go up once or twice a year it is nice. Just to flat for me to live there.
ohiomike
The weather was awesome. Ran into rain on the way back but managed to skirt the main storm. Stayed at my mom's place on Grand Traverse Resort.Yep, once you get north of Ionia its all good. We rode up on M-66 to Kalkaska then over to Williamsburg on 72. Its like a different world up there.
