Saacattack
I plan on doing the same to my Daytona. what did you use on the cockpit fairing to seal/cover the headlights?Ninja looks SICK though!
candybluzx6
Used the headlights as a mold and then fiberglassed that into the holes
TRMN8TR
If you're making it track-only you need to figure out how to seal off the underside for a belly pan/catch pan. I take it you paint? Did you powdercoat the wheels white or paint them?
candybluzx6
I do paint but but wheels and bodywork is just rattle can (didnt want to dump money into the paint job). And ill have all new bodywork this winter
candybluzx6
Got my fairings and windsreen from optimal racing today the fit and finish was great
madcat6183
Why did you buy track plastics if you already closed up the stock fairing light holes etc? Wouldn't it have made more sense to just use those and save the $ for seat time like you stated? Just fiberglass the belly pan to make it a catch pan. Guess I don't see why you did all that work and then bought new track fairings too?Looks good either way, but it already did look good, so basically looks the same
candybluzx6
The stock fairings weighed a tone when i got done and they was really beat up. I wanted the super bike tail so i just got everything lol. I dont think i could have glassed the bottom cause of the way it bolted on
