NinjaNick
My droid x2 can talk and browse.
JStump
4g LTE phones are supposed to be able to browse and talk at the same time.the iphone 5 is the only phone so far that can't using verizon or sprint the article says. Its because they used a single chip for both LTE and legacy networks. Most everyone else uses 2 chips. I would have been happy with a slightly thicker phone if it meant both talk and surf but I honestly dont talk much so its not the end of the world to me. In fact, I think after 2 years with AT&T I had somewhere around 5,000 roll over minutes, which I think is the limit haha.
TopLeft
It's not 5,000. Not sure if there is a limit!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

serpentracer
I know my phone can't but the nav never gets interupted either though. so I don't know how that works since it keeps working.
ScubaCinci
I have like 5k rollover minutes. I rarely talk on the phone and I've been using it for work conference calls and stuff.
Gunner75
Ill keep my Android phone anyday over Iphone. I hate apple and have never liked the fact the company bases their business practices on liberal policies. However that is my choice, just like it is your choice to purchase one. Radio Flyer
Can you browse and talk at the same time on Verizon? I thought the answer was already no. One carrier lets you do that but it's no Verizon, unless that supposedly changed...You couldn't in the past because their data and voice used the same type of signal on Verizon. Now that the phone is equipped with 4g you can browse and talk at the same time since voice has it's own signal and data has it's own signal. max power
OK, so possibly idiotic question. If I have no other apple products, do I want to back up my stuff on iCloud?Just plugged this thing in and starting to set it up.
gen3flygirl
You get 5 free gigs of iCloud storage. If I were you I would set it up to where you save your contacts on there and make some other important docs. Other than that its not worth it to pay for more storage if you are able to back your phone up on your computer every now and then.
Simplysix
Yes Max, the cloud is great. It'll keep all your texts, pics, contacts, apps, etcGreat for if you ever lost/damaged your phone.
Scruit
I have a 64Gb ipod and 5Gb cloud storage? No thanks. I have my itunes backing up to my SAN drive so any PC on my network I plug into will back up to the same shared location.

max power
Should I convert all my music to Itunes or just what I want to put on my phone?
JStump
That is up to you, I personally use iTunes for everything music related since I have an iPhone, iPod, iPad and Mac although I have used it as my sole music organizer even on my pc since I got my first iPod 7+ years ago. Once you get used to it, you may end up doing the same thing just for simplicity sake. It's the best music player/organizer IMO especially if you use options I mentioned in a previous post. max power
Im trying to just put on Itunes what Im going to put on the phone. Ive got tons of music on the computer and only want to put about 5-6 gigs worth on the phone. I thought it might be easier to use I tunes as a "phone only playlist". Not sure its going to be as easy as I thought.
