It has heat panels, but it is uselss for my R1 as it is placed lower for side exhausts. this should be fine for your rides. The act of putting the cover on and taking it off will scratch the dirt/debris into the paint and then the cover will be dirty on the inside as well as the outside. Even if you clean your bike and put a dirty cover on, it can get scratched. If you clean it, put one on, if not then why bother? smashweights Posted November 19, 2012 Author Report Share Posted November 19, 2012 Maybe i wasn't clear, my garage is old and the wood inside is from the 1950s and the amount of dust and dirt that accumulates on the bike in a few weeks exceeds the amount i put on the bike riding over the course of a year.
