Whats up guys. My Name is Dustin, I reside in Grove City. I drive a 2008 Evolution X, and of course...she is my baby. Lookin to get to know everyone and meet some people with the same love for cars as me. This is my third build with many more in the future. Havent dug in to deep yet. Upgraded Intake, Upper Intercooler piping, Test Pipe, Cat Back Exhaust, GrimmSpeed EBC and a tune from reputable E-Tuner on the Evo forums. Future plans...half way saved up for a new clutch, so hopefully in a couple months ill have that. Other then that, needs coilovers, bigger turbo, etc..the works Pics. http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r313/RoLLLLLy/My%20Evo/Side1.jpg http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r313/RoLLLLLy/My%20Evo/Under1.jpg http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r313/RoLLLLLy/My%20Evo/IMG_1468.jpg http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r313/RoLLLLLy/AutoX/OVRPoints8.jpg And Last but not least...my favorite mod -- Custom Made http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r313/RoLLLLLy/My%20Evo/IMG_1469.jpg4 points

Hello Columbus Racing, I'm Daren. I finally made it to a Cars & Coffee event last Saturday. Even though the turnout was pretty light, I really enjoyed hanging out with other car-crazy people like me. John and Taylor mentioned CR and told me to introduce myself in The Oven. Not sure how deep to go – but here goes. I've been in Columbus all my life and have been into cars since I could hold a matchbox car. Through college I worked at Hammond Electronics and competed in many car audio events and built an endless amount of systems for me and others. Today, I'm still a huge car buff – maybe even more so. Professionally, I'm a Graphic Designer / UI Designer at a local design agency. My car related skills are electronics, car audio fabrication, and styling. Here's a quick roundup of my custom vehicle history: My old Durango: My old Tahoe (featured on the cover of Stylin' Concepts catalog) My current Jeep SRT8 (outdated pics – need to shoot more soon) So that's me. I'm looking forward to meeting more of you and checking out your cars at local events! Thanks, Daren2 points

As a responsible gun owner/carrier it is YOUR job to safely carry AND store your weapon REGARDLESS of where you're at. We don't yet another stupid ass law telling the typically competent gun owners what to do. /thread2 points

If you left a gun laying around for your niece to pick up and shoot herself in the head, um maybe YOU should be in jail?!? Just sayin'. You don't need the government to tell you to make sure you don't have guns laying around. And if you ARE one of those people who need that, then you should tell your friends that you're an irresponsible cunt, and if they are going to be irresponsible cunts and leave their firearms laying around at your house, they need to NOT come over when they're carrying. Simple as that.2 points

If nothing was done: Osama may still be dead because the system that killed him was already in place but honestly, he was kind of irrelevant at that point. I'm glad he's dead though so +1. Libya would still be run by a dictator who was a crazy ally. Now its run by the muslim brotherhood who's credo is "death to america" -1. Same deal with Egypt so -1. GM and Chrysler have been rewarded for failure with our tax dollars. At their current rate of losses they will require another bail out shortly or be back on the chopping block again. Had they gone bankrupt the parts that still had value would have been bought and run profitably by a company that is competent at doing business and we would be recovering instead of still looking FORWARD to more job losses and debt. -1 With all the quantitative easing going on, Obama is the primary reason the dollar has devalued of late and a leading cause of the higher gas prices. -1 it also artificially put devalued money into the market which has falsly inflated stocks. it looks good on your 401K statement right now but it wont last. The jobs are not following and they wont follow till we encourage manufacturing to come back or start again with lower corporate tax rates and streamlined regs. -1 So woo hoo, he gets credit for the seals taking out Osama. Glad its done but anyone with the sense God gave a chicken would have made the same decision. Its time for a change unless we want 4 more years of higher taxes, oppressively skirting congress like with his 900 plus executive orders and job losses as he taxes corporations to death while the rest of the world is lowering taxes and luring business to their shores.1 point

Just one more reason to NEVER vote for a democrat.1 point

It's all for show. It's been introduced into the 129th General Assembly which only has 3 calendar months left to run. It will expire if not passed. It will never pass. There's too much pro-CCW momentum, and not enough time. And you votes won't matter as any action taken on this legislation will happen prior to the people voted in in November taking office. "Flame suit on", but I'm not opposed to safe storage laws *for unattended firearms* in homes with kids.1 point

Common sense for the win Oh please, please mommy government save us from ourselves1 point

If I am armed it doesn't matter where I am I will not drink because I will not leave my gun anywhere1 point
-
first of all, do you really need the government to pass a law for this not to happen? Second if this is somehow an issue, simply ask the friend not to leave the gun laying around to be forgotten. Thirdly, maybe I'm just not as dumb as people you know or think of but if im carrying a gun anywhere and taking it off the first thing I'm doing is checking its on me before I leave1 point

Can't let anger cloud your judgement. CHL has significantly mellowed me. I laugh off situations that I would have fought off 20 years ago. Gotta keep your cool when you're armed.1 point

Just seen this thread. Sweet tattoo. I have both sleeves both legs, ribs and some back work oh and a foot too. That's just normall scabing you have there. I feel the legs take the longest and most painfull during the healing process. When its all done healing do your best to keep it out of the sun or use high SPF suncreen. Mine started with a spider on the forearm. 12 years later I'm still getting work done..1 point
