Hey, I was told about this website by a friend so I'd thought I'd join. I currently live in Akron but I work for the City of Orrville as an Engineering Tech II. I currently have 5 bikes in my garage. Here they are: My daily rider, a '99 Ducati Monster 900 City My soon to be street/track machine, a 1989 Gsxr750 My first real street bike, a 1978 Kz1000 with a few suspension mods My ProStreet style project bike, a 1976 Kz900 with lots of mods And the last bike I don't have pics of but it's a 1980 Kz1300B Touring. Hello, I am just finishing a new project with the guys over at IPS in Columbus and was planning to get in on some of your track testing events. The new project is a 2012 GS corvette with a few mods. It has ran 11.10 @ 132 so far (traction is the limit). I am new to this car and some of the new mods but not to drag racing. I have been drag racing for past 28 years. I won a chanpionship and set ET and speed records in 2002 and 2003 in a heads up class. I then got old and tired, so now I just do weekend Q-8 and Q16 events. My race car is a 1963 Corvette that runs 4.20s @ 175 in the 1/8th mile. My friend and I build the entire car and the engines. We tell people, not bad for a couple of farmers from NE Ohio Not sure how to insert photos, maybe one of my younger generation friends can show me how its done. Thanks, Dale

Same aspect as saying, any car/vehicle over 400 horsepower should be illegal. Unless you're Michael Schumacher or Mario Andretti, you can't have any vehicle over 400 horsepower. The 2nd Amendment states, it is our RIGHT to Bear Arms. It's not a luxury, it is a given Right as an American. Banning firearms infringes upon that Right. As an owner of a few, gas operated, magazine fed, semi automatic rifles, this does infringe on my Right.

projectfree.tv is also a good site and usually has links up after an hour. Be warned, it has quite a few pop ups and a friend using windows claims funky stuff happens to his computer after going to this site. Macs are fine though and the links are usually pretty quick to buffer.

I wouldn't hesitate one second to deal with Shawn or Gump, or deal with one in behalf of the other. Both are well known here, and both have met many of the members on here, rode with them, and/or hung out with them.

Tips: Hold onto the hips, or a part of the bike...no wrapping your arms around the waist. If you bump helmets(turtle kiss), it's not your fault...the person in front of you needs more practice. You get on second, and don't dismount until the person in front knows you're going to dismount. On second, off first. Lean with the turn. Wear gear, stay pretty. Missing teeth and scars are only attractive on dudes. I'm sure I'll think of more...
