  1. There is no such thing as over organization and it especially does not cause confusion Sincerely, Mr B.A. in Organizational Leadership

  2. Sounds like you are all pissed because now this kid is cooler that yours. He is going to go to school and have a great story to tell. Girlies are going to think he's the greatest. Will probably have a life full of adventures and risk taking. Won't be stuck inside to keep him from getting kidnapped and molested. Or get skin cancer from the sun.

  5. Everyone puts their children at risk. Whether it's taking them on a motorcycle, driving with them in the car after you've had a couple of beers, or something as mundane as letting the smoke detector battery go dead. It's just a matter of which risks you take consciously, and which don't occur to you. ...now excuse me while I check my smoke detectors.

  10. http://www.nbc4i.com/story/25228596/west-side-crash-kills-one-along-i-70-freeway-closed People, if you're going to street ride, remember, it's still April, it's still Ohio, it;s still a state filled with dickhole drivers. Wait another few weeks until people get over the whole winter and rain bullshit driving. Hate seeing this, but at this rate, we're going to set a new, terrible record. Remember to also not ride like a dickhole, seen too many guys on sportbikes this week acting like they are Rossi on I270, when in fact at any given time it'd be game over. Ride within your limits, and ride within the law, and don't be a dickhole. That goes for cruisers, sport bikes, duals, wtf ever you'r riding. Oh and don't be stupid and go hit Hocking this weekend, please... I didn't even waste my time on that thread if it exists which I am sure it does, because last year I straight told dudes it was too early and they'd wreck. Person A told me I was wrong, person A wrecked, believe totaled his shit. It's not riding season yet, sorry. RIP rider.

  11. And this is why we can still be friends. I have to admit that I have had itunes installed on my PC, only to help out a friend that has an iPhone. The phone is on my account, or I would have told them to pound sand.

  12. the tw200 is stupid easy to ride. the tires don't make much difference other than being somewhat handy for getting around gravel and not too hairy off roading.

  14. Harry's lap timer is what I have always seen recommended as well. JB and I got inexpensive (Amazon? Ebay?) lap timers for pretty cheap. They're great for the XR's, because we won't cry if we crash and break them... They have worked well for us. And I totally agree that new riders should not be worrying about lap times, but I also understand how gratifying it can be to see your times fall, and look back and laugh at your times from weeks or years prior. Put the lap timer on your tail section where you can't see it. Then check after the session, or at lunch time if it will store enough laps.

  15. guess who else were considered terrorists by masses? and look where we are now......idk about you guys (aside from Graeme), but I didn't eat tea and crumpits or whatever the fuck theyre eating in England right now for breakfast. God bless America and our patriots. The Fed needs to stop putting their nose where it does not belong. They are trying to control every single aspect of our lives, and people are finally getting sick of it.

  16. IMO, just buy a simple lap timer. You only need to know how consistent you are from lap to lap. You don't need a speedo either, they're just distracting on the track. Put a piece of tape over it and don't worry about it. Edit: actually as new track rider you shouldn't even be worrying about your times on the track. Work on the basic skills first then worry about your times. It will all come with time, trust me.

  17. Actually I have heard that if someone wants your bike, even if it weighs as much as the big baggers, 4 guys can pick one right up and load it on a flatbed by take 2 boards and slding them through, one through the rear wheel, the other through under the neck, then just pick it up. But that mercury switch trick sounds like it would thwart that. That's a great idea. I just run a hardened padlock though the holes in my disc and tether the frame to something substantial when and if I can using a coated cable. But if someone wants it bad enough, they're going to take it..

  19. Clearly, the objective is to have fun. More confusing? If you can't figure out a sign in a parking lot and following a decent guideline of how long your gas stops should be, maybe elementary school is more of a fit for those riders.

  26. Amendment XThe powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. A small legal hurdle for the BLM. This guy does have a point. The feds are basically foreclosing on the land without any clear legal right to do so. I'm waiting for an executive order and Eric Holder to decide that this is something he should prosecute under the "Broad Discretion" to selectively enforce the law that he claims he has. There isn't much land left in Nevada. The Harry Reid angle is priceless.

  27. Statement from Shirlee Bundy- "I have had people ask me to explain my dad's stance on this BLM fight. Here it is in as simple of terms as I can explain it. There is so much to it, but here it s in a nut shell. My great grandpa bought the rights to the Bunkerville allotment back in 1887 around there. Then he sold them to my grandpa who then turned them over to my dad in 1972. These men bought and paid for their rights to the range and also built waters, fences and roads to assure the survival of their cattle, all with their own money, not with tax dollars. These rights to the land use is called preemptive rights. Some where down the line, to keep the cows from over grazing, came the bureau of land management. They were supposed to assist the ranchers in the management of their ranges while the ranchers paid a yearly allotment which was to be use to pay the BLM wages and to help with repaires and improvements of the ranches. My dad did pay his grazing fees for years to the BLM until they were no longer using his fees to help him and to improve. Instead they began using these money's against the ranchers. They bought all the rest of the ranchers in the area out with they're own grazing fees. When they offered to buy my dad out for a penence he said no thanks and then fired them because they weren't doing their job. He quit paying the BLM but, tried giving his grazing fees to the county, which they turned down. So my dad just went on running his ranch and making his own improvements with his own equipment and his own money, not taxes. In essence the BLM was managing my dad out of business. Well when buying him out didn't work, they used the indangered species card. You've already heard about the desert tortis. Well that didn't work either, so then began the threats and the court orders, which my dad has proven to be unlawful for all these years. Now their desperate. It's come down to buying the brand inspector off and threatening the County Sheriff. Everything their doing at this point is illegal and totally against the constitution of the United States of America. Now you may be saying," how sad, but what does this have to do with me?" Well, I'll tell you. They will get rid of Cliven Bundy, the last man standing on the Bunkerville allotment and then they will close all the roads so no one can ever go on it again. Next, it's Utah's turn. Mark my words, Utah is next. Then there's the issue of the cattle that are at this moment being stolen. See even if dad hasn't paid them, those cattle do belong to him. Regardless where they are they are my fathers property. His herd has been part of that range for over a hundred years, long before the BLM even exsisted. Now the Feds think they can just come in and remove them and sell them without a legal brand inspection or without my dad's signature on it. They think they can take them over two boarders, which is illegal, ask any trucker. Then they plan to take them to the Richfeild Aucion and sell them. All with our tax money. They have paid off the contract cowboys and the auction owner as well as the Nevada brand inspector with our tax dollars. See how slick they are? Well, this is it in a nut shell. Thanks" Funny, when Reid is justly thrown under the buss the Feds backed off. Could have nothing to do with it. Legal issue vs. How much bad PR do democrats want now. http://www.infowars.com/breaking-cliven-bundy-to-meet-with-clark-co-sheriff/

  28. +1 on shit road conditions and traction. But I actually feel like people notice a bike more mid winter than in summer. They always take a double take when it 35° and a bike is coming like they saw a unicorn or leprechaun, or a leprechaun riding a unicorn.

  29. Sorry to disagree. I have been riding since beginning of the year. I don't bother winterizing my bike. You definitely make some good points. But just like a bitch is gonna bitch, a squid is gonna squid. There are responsible people, and there are irresponsible people. The season is a secondary factor at best. I have been cut off at the same rate in July as the rate in January. RIP Rider.
