Wow. I would ride any motorcycle that is free. It may not be my daily ride, but I am definitely down for riding free motorcycles.2 points

For your situation(I haven't actually seen you ride)....3 things, 2 have already been mentioned: 1. Counter Steering. You are already doing this, or you wouldn't be able to turn. But be aware of it, and consciously start your turns with counter steering. 2. Look as far ahead as possible. To say it another way, look as far through the corner as possible. As Derek said, this will 'slow things down' and give you more time to react. 3. Turn your head and shoulders in the direction you are turning. Even exaggerate it. This will force you into a 'decent' body position, and eliminate the chances of being 'crossed up.' Go on a solo ride on a nice curvy piece of asphalt. Try all of these 1 at a time. When you feel comfortable with each, do them all together. Focus on smoothly gliding through corners...next thing you know you'll be riding faster & safer. There is obviously more to cornering technique than this, but these 3 things will give you a really good foundation to build on.2 points

The less Mexicans working in a chipotle is a direct correlation to the poor service time and quality. More Mexicans = better chipotle1 point

The lack of available gear in big man sizes is just ridiculous. I'd seriously like to start a line of gear aimed towards the larger riders as there is a huge hole in the market. I'm pretty sure this is a big reason a lot riders don't wear ATGATT.1 point

My first group ride with you guys was with the likes of IP, jschaf, Doc, Gasser, Az, and a few others of the same skill level. I was way slower than all of them thanks to AZ and Gasser for sweeping me. I think the biggest thing for me is not knowing the road / what to ask at stops. On roads I'm not familiar with I need a "tow" for hints as to what comes next lol doesn't help when they are that much faster than I tho haha. With that said, no matter the pace it's always fun riding with OR members. Sent from my iPhone.1 point

Nice work to all the sweeps. I'll admit I wasn't the biggest help to Derek last year early in the season when he needed it. No patience....props!1 point

Where to start on the farkles??? New Baldwin seat, Cee Bailey screen, both fender extenders, T-Rex crash bars, bar risers, Murph's peg lowers, Tech Spec tank and saddlebag protectors, Kaoko throttle lock, grip puppies, headlight protectors, 2 RAM mounts. Sena SMH10 headsets. All I can think of at the moment. One headlight protector and one of the protective pucks on the T-Rex engine guards was destroyed/missed after impact. And yes, I do have two jobs:)1 point

Major, major, correction......in my early AM traveling stupor....i had misread the sign. The road is closing on 5/27 (with my addled thought of one month closed...I.e. 27 days)...NOT SO....it will be closed for 5 days. Project would be about 2 or 3 miles east of Holmes County line, from Danville direction. Again, the only go around looks like 514 (Danville) north to SR520....don't forget the daily closing of 520 for maint. work. Presumed that 520 would be allowed open on weekends. Unless you are on a dirt bike, ATV or adventure bike....then you could drop off and down into the woods on Twp Rd 5, just before the Road Closed barricade on USR62. A Very gravel road that snakes around and you could end up in and around Glenmont (eventually). I think Twp Rd 5 takes you to Twp Rd 7.... Left on twp rd 7 (if it actually is twp. rd. 7) and you are thru a cut stone tunnel passing under the once railroad line and end up back near Brinkhaven and Mohican River. Taking 7 right and you'll wind around thru the backwoods to come out on Co. Rd. 70 (?).... Being the county road opposite the termination of SR206 at USR62. Turning right at intersection of Twp Rd. 7 and onto CR70 will take you to USR62 and the north end of SR206. AND, i see that SR60 north of Killbuck, below the intersection of SR39, will be closed on 8/5, near Welcome (a turn that poses as a town). This too looks to be a culvert replacement.... Confused yet? Good luck.....1 point

One of these should do it. You wouldn't have to worry about it falling off and it will also act to pull any metal particles in your oil to the bottom of the cases. https://www.kjmagnetics.com/proddetail.asp?prod=BZX0ZX0Y0-N52&cat=168 I also doubles to help hold your bike to the earth when it get windy out.1 point

It's a metal detector under the pavement. Get a few large neodymium magnets and stick them to your exhaust, should produce a large enough magnetic field to trip the sensors.1 point

Why do some enjoy sailing while others need a jet ski? A jet ski/wave runner is faster, better handling and adrenalin pumping while the sailboat is slower, peaceful, hard to turn, and more relaxing..... I'm not looking for increased heart rate and a buzz from my ride. I'm in it for pleasure....relaxation. Honestly, I've never seen or heard anyone being ridiculed for gear or lack-there-of except for here on OR. Ride your ride and enjoy it.1 point

So here is where I agree with you...I am all for clean water and air and dealing with hazardous material in a responsible way. But a big component of man made Global Warming is fear mongering that is used to channel dollars and sway votes.1 point

I have no animosity towards harley riders themselves, I don't understand why anyone would want to limit themselves by choosing such a slow and poorly handling machine, especially for the money. But hell if it makes them happy, more power to them.0 points

Also, Switzerland at 0...no way. People don't need guns to kill people. Here's the gun death numbers for Switzerland... Too lazy to look up total homicide rate, but obviously it'll be higher www.businessinsider.com/switzerlands-gun-laws-are-a-red-herring-2012-12 I'm all for less gun control and I believe it helps with violence... But I'm not ignorant enough to believe that having a firearm will prevent anything bad from happening-1 points

Except it's not true... I hate Harleys, no admiration for their bikes at all. Wouldn't even ride one if it was free.-1 points
-
Not me. I'd rather pay my bike payment and ride something I enjoy. I can afford it, so why not. Rather pay to ride something I enjoy, than ride something I hate for free... Heck, I'd just drive my car and enjoy music and ac-1 points

That being said, I don't care what anyone else rides, it's America ride whatever you want lol.. Just me personally, wouldn't do it... I don't dislike people for riding Harleys, I dislike the stereotypical Harley riders who are complete assholes because they find themselves superior for riding Harleys... It's not about the bike, it's the person riding it that bothers me-1 points

lol harley exhaust notes being referred to as "harmonics"........too hard to tell how they sound, i go temporarily deaf any time i pass one due to the violently loud noise pollution coming from the pipes-1 points
