Hey Andrew, I'm the bands tour manager. I always set aside a few tickets for hometown shows. I can take care of you for Friday the 5th. It'll be $25/ticket (it's what the band paid), so $50 total. If you want me to hold them for you send me a PM with your first and last name, or the name that you want the tickets to be held under at the will call. You can pay me the night of the show.4 points

Suspect was using deadly weapon (knife) and met with deadly force. A taser isnt always effective, sometimes it gets caught up in clothing, a prong might miss etc. This guy was an immediate threat to the life on those officers, and clearly didnt care if he got killed doing what he was doing, which makes him an even bigger threat. Seriously....you see a problem with how that went down? If you have a knife, and youre approaching officers and refusing to follow orders all while yelling "shoot me" and advancing on them....you dont think that warrants use of deadly force? youre seriously saying the only time a gun is justified is when? when the assailant starts shooting at cops first? Fuck, a cop has to get fucking shot before he can use his own weapon to defend himself, to be considered right to some people....i bet even then, people would be all like "well, joe shot the cop, but during his magazine reload he wasnt a threat anymore so he should have been shot with a bean bag"3 points

My Dad drank bottled Blatz while I was growing up. So around age 6 or more when I was sent to the fridge to fetch him one, I'd always snooker a swig or 2 if I could twist the cap off before I handed it to him. Just one of our cool little father/son moments back then. Got old enough to actually drink and tried to wrap my head around how he stomached that slop for years, nasty imo. I tried domestics, Coors was an early favorite until I opened my palette and began craft sampling. There's not many a beer I wont drink other than Guinness, that is some heavy knife and fork brew - I dont dig it at all, although I've heard it's vastly different overseas from the tap. Bud and Natural are equally crappy to me, but I could see where guys on a budget, or those who slam a dozen a day, would favor it. Everyone is different, and have varying tastes/preferences.....but if you shun away from craft sampling, you are truly missing out fellas. Do yourself a favor and at least try other brews, there are thousands of recipes out there that better represent the true heritage of beer.1 point

Quantity = Bud Light or Coors (not light) Quality = Guinness Craft beer drinkers are too close to wine snobs. Not for me.1 point

Assuming you mean under View New Content? Check the settings on the left side. You want "Forums" and "Content I have not read" highlighted. Nothing else.1 point

Yup. Bud Light is about 90% water and Im yet to meet someone who appreciates a quality beer who drinks it. Especially with all the great, local, craft breweries that are in Ohio, I dont know why anyone would waste their time with Bud Light.1 point

Pretty awesome. It seems like everyone in C-Bus loves the Pony. Im yet to do business with them buy I may need to start doing so if their customer service is as great as everyone says.1 point

Go with Geothermal, not kidding. if you can swing the upfront cost, it will pay for itself, unlike a lot of the other stuff that supposedly does, this does. Parent's were the first house in Richland county with it and within 12 years dad had it paid for in energy savings. The first unit lasted about 17 years, and that was because when they had it done, no one had any idea how long they lasted, now they know. He got it replaced with an even more high efficiency one that will last until long after he's gone, and he said it will take probably 5 years to recoup the cost. So he has about 2-3 more years until it's already covered the cost, plus he reused the previous lines so no cost there. They also had to invest nearly 2X as they had to dig their lines vertical due to trees not horizontal which is much cheaper. So guessing it would have taken even less time than the 12 years to recoup if that wasn't the case. Honestly man, I would call and get some quotes if you're planning to be in there a long time, which I know you are. I know when our HVAC goes, I will be calling to see if it's possible where we live or not. Guessing it wouldn't get approved by the building inspector or what not, but I will definitely try.1 point

Buy yourself a Gopro curved adhesive camera mount tonight and I'll let you borrow a gopro for practice so you can record your session while you chase then lead from Chris.1 point

I'll give you your pointers right now: Follow Gavin/Kent/Devon. More gas, less brake. Pass the guy in front of you. But seriously, remind me to be geared up early so we can turn some early practice laps with no traffic. I'll chase you for 5 or so laps. Can record you if you want to see where I run up on your wheel.1 point

Go with hybrid system, which would be heat pump and propane. The heat pump will provide good heat down to 20-25 outside temperature, then propane can handle the really cold days.1 point

In revzilla's article they said it was built using an existing DOT approved shell that is built by a manufacturer that builds for many. That's a huge red flag for me. It means icon (WPS) or speed and strength (tucker rocky) quality shell with bolted on electronics. If I'm paying anywhere near $1000.00 for a helmet, I want the same quality I get with my arai corsair v. Fitment is my most major concern, and when paying that price, it better be down right luxurious to wear the helmet. In saying all that, the tinted visor is cool as hell. But why the hype on it? Auto dark welding helmets have been that way for years, no button necessary. Would auto dark visors be dorky like transition lens glasses?1 point

Who ever condones looting? The morons who looted and rioted have nothing to do with the underlying incident involving an (allegedly) unarmed man being shot and killed by a police officer. If it went down the way the witness(es) describe, I think people have a right to be outraged. That doesn't give them the right to loot or threaten the officer's life, but outrage is warranted.1 point
