I heard a rumor Nelson Ledges was being rebuilt to host MotoGP in 2017, is that true? What is their policy on steel rails? I thought they used transparent aluminum?2 points

Ok I'm going to post a reply to your PM here so others can help, and also if others need help in the future they can reference. So you have Mikuni VMs and aftermarket filters. I'm going to guess they are VM 30's, do you by any chance know? Any idea what jets and needle are in them? If not, we can still work things out. From what I can see, the manifolds they used don't have nipples for hooking up a synch gauge. So that kinda stinks, but we can work around that too. Take off filters, and set each carbs throttle height visually to the same height. The slide is adjusted up or down with a knob in the middle of the carb(on the other side of the pic you posted). Set them all the way down, then lift them up slightly so that they are just ever so slightly opened. Turn your air screws in all the way. These are the screws that are closest to the air filter, you can see it in the pic you posted on the left. (Looks like its out pretty far). Turn it all the way in until you feel pressure slightly. Don't crank down on it, or you risk ruining the tip or breaking it off. Start tuning by backing it out counter clockwise 1/2 turn (180 deg). In your pic, it looks like they are out farther than they should be. Try to start the bike without giving it throttle. If it idles where it is, let it run for about a minute. Then you need to pull the plugs and we can go from there.1 point

I didn't spend the money I did to have a pavement princess. The 10 day trip through South Dakota, Wyoming and Colorado with the family this summer will involve as much 2 track as we can find. Most likely keeping the X and selling the F150.1 point

Lol I'm almost the opposite. My bow house that was built in '92 is 10x the quality of my last house which was built in 2002. Now I'm looking at a couple custom built craftsman colonials that were built in the 70s and 80s in case this one sells1 point

It's 130 years old, it's gonna have all that unless its had a complete remodel. To a point, some of those aren't a big deal either though, mold certainly is a big one. I have no expertise in anything of the sort, but I imagine I'd be looking at the structure primarily. It's likely a hand dug basement and rock foundation. It's gonna have cracks and leaks. Termites, water damage, rot...sounds like some starting points.1 point

I went with tour master over pants I plan on doing the same thing with. Not really the coolest but are water proof, I wanted a all around pant. They do have venting via side zippers can't comment on warm weather yet.1 point

Tourmaster. Check their site. They have pants for all temps. Some with removable liners that you can use all year.1 point

They're usually located inconveniently right behind and underneath the muffler bearings. Damn design engineers! Definitely a dealer-only service item.1 point

If you’re looking for a jacket to take you through all four seasons, the Alpinestars Bogota Drystar Jacket is for you. The Bogota has a multi-material construction, including a poly-fabric shell and a multi-panel mesh lining. As a part of Alpinestars’ Drystar line, this jacket has a waterproof and breathable liner with taped seams. Underneath the Drystar liner you’ll find a removable quilted thermal liner for cold weather riding. Two ventilation systems built into this jacket allow you to adjust the amount of airflow. The ‘Jet Ventilation System’ incorporates two mesh-backed vents with snaps on the chest and a large rear vent, allowing cool air in and hot air out. The ‘Climate Control System’ refers to two-way zippered vents located on the sleeves. A foldable collar with a snap gives you the option to allow more airflow to the neck area during warm weather riding. This jacket includes removable CE-certified shoulder and elbow armor to protect against impact in the case of a crash. The chest and back pockets come equipped with PE padding. If you’re looking for more protection, the Nucleon KR-2i Back Protector and Nucleon KR-Ci Chest Protectors fit and are sold separately. Adjusters on the biceps and sides of the waist allow you to find the perfect fit. The outside of this jacket has five pockets: two cargo, two zippered/waterproof, and a large utility pocket in the back. Additional waterproof pockets are located on the inside of the jacket. A 360 degree zipper allows you to attach a pair of Alpinestars pants to the Bogota jacket. MSRP $349.95 If you have any questions about the product or would like to place an order, feel free to give MIKE a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 804. Is email more convenient? Send us a private message through this forum or write to us at FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM, and we'll get back to you right away!1 point

I was there on Saturday and the trail maintenance guy had his 5 wheel and machinery at Williams. He is currently working on the trails to get them ready.1 point

I didn't read the rest of the comments but please don't do anything stupid like add seafoam to that truck...mine did the exact same thing and it is very common and there is nothing wrong with the truck...You need to have the turbo filter replaced, it has moisture in it.1 point

KilKare was a nice meet place when they offered bike night, you could sit and bullshit and watch fast shit. I know they still have Friday Night Lightz but no more free entry for bikes.1 point

I thought that was your goal, to get a bunch of dudes into one garage?1 point

I may have one completely remodeled for you, move in ready. Check the the foundation on older homes. Also look for rotted/broken support beams in the basement. Cracks in the old plaster and lathe walls expose structural issues. I know a good inspector who may chime in on here if he is still active.1 point

Jackass flats in Huber Heights , now known as rip rap road house. Personally I don't do bike nights. I prefer rides and meet and greets. If I am riding, I want to ride not park for hours. Meets are great for BS. I do go to the Piqua bike fest in September.1 point

There used to be a bike night at Hooters on Miller Ln, think it was Wednesday or Thursdays nights. Years ago the parking lot at Wiley's Comedy Club down town in the Oregon District used to have quite a turnout on the weekends, but haven't been there in years so I'm not sure if it still happens1 point
