  1. He doesn't work for US Bank. Never has as far as I know. Works for Union Savings and Bank. Big shoutout to him though. He just got my house refinanced. 15yr for the same payment as my 30yr. We close this month.

  17. The trade off Metrics break down less often but sometimes take weeks to get the parts in for the repair. With Harleys 99% of the time you will get your bike back the same day or at least the next. My 2012 Harley has over 40,000 miles and has spent less then 3 days total in the shop for repairs. Hope you back to riding.

  18. Thanks for handling all of this Derek. I'm sure it was a pain. Can't wait for the ride. Hopefully the weather cooperates.

  28. ^ You are going to hell. Your eternity will be spent on a Harley with open pipes, no helmet and a straight flat road that never ends. And of course it will be as hot as, well, hell.

  29. Fuuuuuuck that! You can't do badass extended stoppies with ABS. What are you, a woman er sumptin?
    1 point
  30. Anyone arguing against ABS on a bike will be using the same arguments people used years ago when they first showed up on cars. Those arguments back then were just as retarded as they are today. No, you can not stop your bike faster than a computer because you have been riding all your life and you are really good. It won't even be close. You need to stop, you just jam them on and it stops. I can not believe how much faster I can stop the bike...and I have been riding a long time. I was sure I was one of those guys that really knew where the edge was. I wasn't even close to being as good as the brakes. I almost missed a stop sign last summer, it was half hidden behind a tree and I was half being a dumbass. Or maybe 1/4 hidden 3/4 dumbass. When I saw it I was doing 40, I swear I wasn't more than 4 or 5 bike lengths from it. I just grabbed both brakes with all I had, felt the ABS kick in and it just stopped on a dime. I have never gotten a bike to stop like that it was amazing. There are no disadvantages, the weight is minimal. All of the gear for mine is under the right side panel...the little tiny panel below my seat. Can't be much more than 10 lbs of shit under there. It's just some aluminum manifolds and solenoids controlled by the ECU.

  32. I do attend church regularly, but as the story above mentions that does not mean bad things do not happen in my life or other Christians as well. I believe God gave us a brain to use and if we can do something to prevent bad things from happening to us or others we care about we should do it.

  34. My experience is obviously Northeast Ohio and great breweries are abundant. BBQ is not as good as the south but still fine on its own. All would be worth the ride up to this area. Breweries: Great Lakes Brewery: Awesome beer, nice brewpub and great food Brew Kettle: Great Beer and Great food Market Garden Brewery: Above Average beer, good food Nano Brew (Owner by Market Garden): Above average beer, better food than Market Garden Platform Brewery: Really, really good beer. Food is brought in by local restaurants and rotates as they don't have a kitchen. FatHeads Brewery: Great beer, amazing food Buckeye Beer Engine: Good beer, great burgers Hofbrauhaus: Just an amazing all around experience. Beer is good, food is great Tremount Tap House: Beer is average, food great Portside Distillery: Average beer, never had the food BBQ: Bubba Q's: Really good all around southern style bbq Mabel's BBQ: Not even sure this is open yet but it's a Michael Symon place that stole my idea of CLE BBQ so I'm sure it'll be a hit Famous Dave's: It's a chain obviously but I'd say its above average. I pretty much always get their burnt ends and they have really good sauces. Hot Sauce Williams: Only in the ghetto but damn if it isn't good stuff Blazin Bills: Average BBQ for the area. Below average when comparing it to real BBQ. Old Carolina: Another chain place but its not bad, sauces are weak IMO

  35. So, big raise..more time off. Buy your bike back, see you at the gap. And if she drops the kids you can just park it and fly home for that, then go back and get the bike.

  38. This is not the Slippery slope. This is basically old shit with a new twist. Hetro assholes have been trying to have polygamy for years. Hell there is even polygamy in the christian bible. This 3way has only made the news because the fear mongers want to hold it up as "This is why we can't let the evil gays get married". I have yet to meet anyone that can logically and rationally explain how me muff diving impacts anyone but my GF.

  41. Is this to be considered as standard fare for the USA or has the LGBT community gone too far? I have often wondered if the gay marriage debate wouldn't end up at this point, looks like it has. Of course as soon as people are considered married without regard to gender the next question would be... How many wives or husbands would you want? Or maybe a little of both?
