I'm in. If I win the 5k points, I'll add 5k to make it total 10k, only to be regifted to the one nonsupporter who insults Tonik with utmost impunity. Surely Tonik will spitefully ban that person for a short period of time, but to get a free supporter status for the next year, is it not worth it? Would we not be entertained? Would it not give you bragging rights for years to come? Game on folks. If I'm the lucky loser that gets banned for 2 days....meh, so be it. I got shit to do offline anyway3 points

Got hit from behind about 30 minutes ago, was stopped at an intersection to turn left. Hugged the left side of the lane as I always do. Was waiting for a car to pass by coming the opposite direction. All of a sudden heard a crash and was flying through the air. After I landed I tired getting up but my right leg is jacked up. You should see the car. I'd say I won. Bike is totalled from what I saw. Looks like my body hit hood, head hit windshield. Bout to get x-rays on the leg, otherwise no damage. Wear your gear. Helmet saved my life, armored leather saved my body.1 point

Just wanted to share some pics and videos from the recent trip. Had tons of fun. Great roads, slabbed only less than 10% of total miles i would guess. Greatest blessing was absolute gorgeous weather. Lat time we went to gap it rained all the 5 days. Touched almost all the iconic roads mentioned in the threads here. Special thanks for @2talltim for some quick suggestion on the final day. We left with no plans no planned booking and just with the names of some famous roads. Our aim was to keep riding from day till night fall, stick to the twistiest road you can find in the map and find shelter close by when its time to rest. Only regret is I had to be back by friday early afternoon to take the family on another trip. This means even if i slabbed friday morning i could not make it here on time. Thus had to miss the meet with the rest of the gang, was lucky at least to meet hellmut and snot. Overall good trip, only trip that could be more exciting i guess will be those hardcore decaprio revenant dead horse camping challenging danimal ride which i am not man enough to undertake. Anyways here are some pics and crappy video. More pics here >http://s218.photobucket.com/user/achillezvalentino/slideshow/Gap trip 2016 some more pics in this link http://s218.photobucket.com/user/achillezvalentino/slideshow/Gap trip 2016 Short edit video of whole trip : Watch in HD please Just some significant ride part with crappy music to hide wind noise1 point

They are quite a combination of torque and power. My Sprint is down almost 65hp from the ZX14 I traded on it, but it only lacks 12 lbft of torque. The triple can pull pretty hard when you want it to, but it's a predictable and manageable power, plus it gets 10mpg more than my big Ninja did. I'm happy with my choice as well. Congrats again man1 point

I posted a while back about wanting a Speed Triple. I still do want one, but it looks like that will be a while because I came across a sweet deal on a Tiger, so it's mine. Well, it will be when I get the money to the guy and pick it up. 2005 Triumph Tiger 955i with matching side cases (dark green) and non-triumph top case, 17k miles, for $3,000. He has had it advertised on CL since early this year, first at 4k, then 3,500, and now at 3k. I would have bought it at 3,500 except it hasn't had the valve checks done at 12k miles. Most people say that the 12k valve check isn't necessary anyway, but it will definitely need the 24k done, and that is expensive. He let me ride it and it was all over. Compared to my Bonne, this thing is a freaking Cadillac. And the power, whoa the power. Such a sweet engine that triple is. So, unless someone wants to give me one, the Speedy will have to wait, but I'm not really bummed. This thing is pretty sweet. I didn't even think to take a pic, but I will post some pics eventually.1 point

And I was wrong. 1.3 million. Has there ever been one that big? What about when the Blue Jackets won the Stanley Cup? Oh, wait.1 point

Sorry to hear this eric, I know how much you love your critters. Had to do it myself a couple years ago and it still hurts.1 point

Sorry to hear, I had put down my dog after 18 years about a year ago. It's tough, but you hate to see them suffer.1 point

Best fans in sports. Population of Cleveland proper is about 400k. If you include the surrounding counties for the whole Metro area, then about 2 million.1 point

Put down my best friend today. Always sucks. Full of emotions after, I question if it was the right thing to do. Ugh. Always sucks.1 point

A couple of pounds below the max on the sidewall is what I have always run....cold. You are on a cruiser, go with that. You could drop down a little more than that, maybe 5 lbs because your bike is lighter. Things change a bit on a sport bike, but you don't need to worry about that. Manual suggested pressure is a crap shoot. Often the folks that write those are on drugs when they pick a number. Mine says 26 for a 850 pound bike...which is total insanity.1 point

Lol. its everything i imagined it to be. now i am coming from cbrs...600f4...954rr....1000rr being the last one. This bike gives me a whole new perspective. i can see over small suvs!!! Haha. the first day i had it i took it to a small sand quarry. about a 30° grade. dry sifty pillowy sand. in traction control mode3 it took me right up it without a problem!!! With street tires!!!! it was bucking and spitting and sputtering but it did it!! wierd and cool !!!!! the led lights are amazing at night. the next most comfortable bike is a goldwing i believe. haha. the exhaust note is nice enough for me that i do not need to get a aftermarket but i know someday i will just because lol. the best thing overall to me though is thT i can ride this thing ALLL DAYYYY and not feel sore!!!!! i can really log some miles on this thing as opposed to my rocket days where after 1.5hrs i was done haha. looking forward to having a longggg relationship with this machine!!!!! the power is more than adequete. the motor is designed to last forever its very torquey and reminds me of two trx400ex engines butted up together. what else...... the instrument panel is beautiful. The bike is kinda tall. i am just under 6foot and i got about 1 inch before i flatfoot it. i took a chick for a ride and she said it was the most comfortable bike she has been on. oil changes are a breeze. two bolts remove the skid and wallah, the filter and plug are right there. doesnt require premium fuel. the range isnt what i thought. although 45mpg is damn good it doesnt hold as much fuel as other bikes. i never thought i would be into a bike like this but i am happier than a pig in shit!! haha cheers Ryan. Sold. Just a note to others out there selling bikes. Cycle Trader has free motorcycle ads. Kid that bought my bike found my ad there and was not a douche like many Craigslisters can be.1 point

What is the APY on my points savings? Are there any OR ETFs I can place my points into for higher returns? Can I start a 529 plan with my points to have OR fund my kid's college? How much exposure do the points have against the Brexit? Can I short them, hedge them, or extend futures contracts on them? Are my points secure on OR using IT best practices - 128-bit SSL, AES, salted and hashed, distributed blockchain? Or should I withdrawal them all now and put them in a mason jar buried at an undisclosed location?1 point

I’ve never understood why women love cats Cats are independent, they don’t listen, they don’t come when you call them, they like to stay out all night, and when they’re home they like to be left alone and sleep. In other words, every quality that women hate in men, they love in cats.1 point
