We just always plan longish routes. Stopping to eat means getting home later.
I rode with Gasser for 10+ years before I found out he was a vegetarian. True story.
You just admitted to me "I have zero interest in spending money or my limited free time on a motorcycle". I think we should have a vote to lock you down to the for sale section until you buy another.
Jesus, for once I am speechless. That is an epic post, and spot on. To clarify one thing, John was the host, even though Derek posted the thread the NEO Dinner's are John's gig. So to recap for @TimTheAzn who sucks at math:
@ricer1 15
@Casper 8
That settles that.
+1 on River Queen. Forgot about that.
As for stopping for lunch, as all of you know I am a very sociable person that enjoys the company of others. So on a full day ride I prefer lunch.
Sunday was different, we had daylight limitations. And with the LEO delay good thing we didnt eat lunch.
We always ate at the River Queen tavern across the river in Malta, burgers are good and they have what they call fried cheesecake that is excellent. They have a deck where you can eat overlooking the river but seating is limited out there if they are busy.
The Chatterbox Tavern just off the square and the River Queen just across the river are both good spots for lunch. Never had a bad experience with either one.
The good news is, I'm racking up the overtime this week. Need to then decide between the FZ-10 for reliability and power whoolies or a Honda Element to pull the track trailer. FZ would be a lot more fun but I'm hesitant to buy a bike off the show room. I think I could get pretty close to even if I sold the Triumph and the SV though, may have to toss a couple $K on top. Common sense tells me get the Element this year, get a used FZ next year.
Life is so hard.
