  1. Look for @RVTPilot helping out Laroche Racing in the pits. I believe he's fueling the bike for them.

  7. Yes, very much so. Very Quiet and easy to use. I purchased them 5 years ago for the Wife to use while I was deployed away for short periods I made her a video of set-up/operation and she had no problems during storm related power outages.I keep the fuel fresh and change oil annually. If you need extra power the EF2000iS has a parallel function lets you connect two generators to deliver up to 30 amps with a kit. 30amps is also good for a RV/Camper off grid.

  8. Lol, the dortmunder is finishing up primary, will transfer to secondary tomorrow or Saturday and lager it until a few days before the party. My ales typically go from grain to glass in 9 days, quicker depending on style. 4 days primary ferment, then 3 for most of the yeast to drop, then keg, cold crash the rest of the yeast out of suspension and put on high pressure co2 to carbonate for 2 days before dropping to serving pressure. Bigger maltier beers and stuff like chocolate Stout that has to sit on cacao beans for a while take longer, but a basic Amber, pale or blonde ale is ready to drink after a week.

  9. No 100 this year, but that is a long-term goal. Would be a fun thing to be able to say I've done it. I may never do it again, or I may gravitate toward endurance events. I want to find out what I'm good at before I commit too hard to any particular type of competition, but it's also a matter of what's available (somewhat) locally. It's also a lot about getting stir-crazy right now... I may not be so high on racing once the trails are open, and I can just go out and ride for fun. As for the Brady's Run race, I know I can pedal a fat bike for 3+ hours on the RAR course. Obviously an XC loop will take more effort, but it's also a lot more entertaining. And the fact that there's a class explicitly for fat tires levels the playing field, so I can see where I really measure up. Psychologically, I need (and enjoy) having something to train for. I did a couple of Tough Mudder events in 2013, and I got in pretty good shape as a result. They start the event in waves, separated by 20 minutes. We were in the third wave of the day, and were catching up to some people from the first wave. My friend and I had trained by doing a 1.5 mile running trail with a pull-up bar and and a push-up station at the bottom of the hill. We would do that loop up to 8 times in a row, doing pull-ups and pushups to failure after each lap. I never would have attempted that if I weren't training for something. If you're nice, I'll post sexy shirtless pics.

  11. Do they have donuts? Plus IP has several other added benefits. They are sponsors here. Get to look at and buy all kinds of other stuff inside. It's a nice ride down 83 and 62 to get there. There is the BBQ place on 62 on the way home.

  14. OK just call Shell and talked to a lubricant tech guru and he informed me that the new formulation for the Rotella T6 will still be JASO MA1 or MA2 standard. And I ask about the PPM of moly that might be in it and he looked it up and said there is Zero in it. And shell recommends T6 for any wet clutch applications. And the new multi vehicle IS NOT made for wet clutches. If you want to hear it from the horses mouth here is the number to call. The guy said they are getting calls about this daily. 15. OK doing a little research it looks like they just added one to their product line called "Rotella T6 multi vehicle" and still carry the regular "Rotella T6". The multi vehicle does not have the JASO MA1 or MA2 standards but the the old T6 looks like it still does. That was a quick search still need to look deeper into it.

  16. I tried those. Wont stay in ear, very difficult to get helmet on without ripping them out. Very uncomfortable with stiff wire pressing on your head, much more expensive, heavier, dont isolate as well, but they DO sound good!

  17. Welcome. There are a few mileage junkies here. Day rides of 500 miles are not uncommon. Several of us did an Iron Butt to Mt. Rushmore. Some have an Ozarks trip planned to coincide with the yearly Gap get together. Check out the upcoming Epic Ride thread. Good chance to get your feet wet here. One thing you will see about most of us is that we slab as little as possible. We like crooked roads.

  18. Response from a Representative: Received your email and would like to meet with you to discuss this matter in greater detail. I realize that you are in class Mon-Fri and I am down here Mon evening through Thursday. Would it be possible to catch breakfast sometime on a Saturday morning? Probably the best I can do at this point given our schedules. I probably should add I personally know this Representative. He was my high school history teacher and basically ran his campaign from local friends and family support. Anything specific you feel I should bring up? Obviously the idea that the ear plugs are a safety concern. Other thoughts?
