My dort isn't a copy of the great lakes beer, it's more of a helles export. 5.8% ABV, malty with good Noble hop flavor. I just checked the final gravity tonight and it's spot on. I brew all grain, but my equipment isn't fancy, it's rather simple. I use the BIAB or brew in a bag method. Google that shit. The only fancy part is the control panel I built to control my electric mash tun/boil kettle. I can go grain to glass so quick on my ales because 1: I have very good control of fermentation temp and use a very predictable yeast strain and 2: I keg. This allows me to force carbonate my beer instead of naturally carbonating it by adding sugar before bottling. It also allows me to cold crash my beer, which is dropping the temp to near freezing to force all the yeast out of suspension. First few mugs are cloudy, the rest of the keg is brilliantly clear beer. I'll be happy to conduct a tour of my brewery, which consists of standing in my basement for five minutes.1 point

Parts are starting to come in...decided to do blue accents with the red. Goes with the logo. Got some of the guards, new windscreen, CF tank piece, tank pads, spools, and some other bits. Waiting on the top case mount, new seat, rad guard, and a few other things I'm forgetting about. Now if the damn weather will clear.1 point

I have this helmet in a different graphic. Great helmet in the heat it flows a ton of air. She'll size is noticeably smaller than my other scorpion helmet so no bobble head. Best part for me is the way it cuts the wind. Very stable helmet. Much less strain on the neck means more comfortable long days on a naked bike.1 point

Because no matter the issue, republicans and democrats can by no means work together to fix a problem.1 point

I just got a response. I emailed 3 and only 1 responded (well their assistant did) and it took 9 days. Matthew, This is definitely something that the Representative will look into. We understand your argument, as well as the argument from the other side vouching for more awareness. We will do some research, and hopefully come up with a fix to this issue. Thanks, Brandon Brandon Sagraves Legislative Aide | Representative Steve Hambley Rep69@ohiohouse.gov1 point

My 2004 DL1000 was used 95% fast street and sport touring with the occasional gravel to get to a specific location off road like a lake, camping or event. I found the Metzlar Tourance tires were the best all-around for me. Very predictable when pushed. I think all tires of today are much better than what I road on back-in-the-day. The WR250 is a great bike with a large following and many aftermarket parts to fit your needs. I had a WR450 set up for desert riding that I brought from AZ. when I moved here in 2010. Sold it for a Z1000. It's all GOOD.1 point

First new bike I've owned, so I figured I would try keeping up with "recommended service spec" and I like farkles. Plus it's cold as shit outside, and I have a heated garage.1 point

I have been running Mitas Dakar Tires since purchasing this V2 in July 2015 Mitas tires, (Dakar) sidewall E-07: 50% Street/50% Dirt tire E-10: 40/60 E-09: 20/80 Harder Compound . My Standard set-up is the Mitas E-07 Dakar tire that work great on all surfaces and weather. During winter and spring I go with the E-010. Now I am trying the E-09 on the rear for spring riding plus I have some off road trips planed in CO.& UT this year. The E-07 did fine on the Kentucky Adventure Trail (KAT) The Dakar has a very stiff sidewall that helps with my cast wheels and lower air pressures during some off-road works. Check them out, YMMV B.1 point

I'm back... with an official up-to-date list of which oils are JASO. March 2017 release. http://www.jalos.or.jp/onfile/pdf/4T_EV_LIST.pdf Don't forget that certifications are expensive, and not all oils do that. Some might simply says "meets the requirements". Which may or may not be true. And they won't be on this list. Also: JASO MA1 is for 4 stroke engine, wet sump, wet clutch, combined transmission. JASO MA2 is same, except better for catalytic convertors. JASO MA is oil that meets part of MA1 and/or MA2, so gets just "MA" (or is dawn of time old). And yes, Shell Rottela T6 is "crunchy/notchy" in the transmission quickly. It's not for me. The short story... stick to the manufacturer's recommendation and their brand of oil. Second best, Repsol. Anything else, you're on your own; like me using Mobil 1 4T or Castrol stuff.1 point
