Order Placed went with the ultimate package just so I had everything of the same quality and company. Decided against the hitch mount right now didn't see a use for it at this time. This is what i got $868 with one extra tub of lube and shipping. https://www.nomartirechanger.com/Classic_Model_Tire_Changer_Ultimate_Package_p/tc-classic-ultimate.htm3 points

Tonik's rear doesn't know the meaning of "working too hard" going in sideways on the other hand. A 4k bike may be ready for suspension work. So you bought tire too good for the shocks?2 points

As with any circumstance of someone complaining on the internet, we are most likely not getting the entire story. Yes, I think it's a dick move to pass on the right. I also believe if someone or myself is holding up another group, it is common courtesy to let the faster riders by. I'm sure this altercation was very ego driven. I blasted past a couple cruisers on a double yellow a couple weeks ago. Then of course at the next stop, the guy comes up and starts running his mouth. I just smiled, waved, and kept riding. Not worth my time arguing with some jackass on a harley with no helmet who wants to critique my riding ediqutee.2 points

It's a derogatory term, and if the circumstances in this situation have been correctly described it is the proper term to use.2 points

I'd be kinda pissed if I got passed on the right on the street in the same lane by some stranger depending on the situation. If I was way over to the left of the lane and they just kinda pulled up next to me and then a bit ahead I guess I wouldn't mind too much... I wouldn't like it but it wouldn't set me off. If they flew by me with very little distance that would be another matter, they would not be getting away without a talking-to. No comment about passing in corners because it would make me a hypocrite.2 points

Get the hitch mount. Then you can come to the track and be our tire bitch.2 points

Jim, being perfectly honest your coach wasn't giving you the full story. You need to lean off the bike a lot more to see better lap times. Body position is SO important on the track and you're still (from what I saw) in straight up and down mode. That said, having your suspension set up properly will make a huge difference in how the bike feels and in turn how comfortable and planted you feel on the bike. I don't doubt the FZ has more to give but if you're wanting to transition completely into track riding with maybe 1 or 2 days per year of SEO twisties, a 600 is the way to go. The difference in achievable top speed at the track between a 600 and a 1000 is only a few MPH on one, maybe two straights. Case in point, 600's give me a run for my money on the CBR all the way down to the kink on the back straight, and even then when I pass it's mostly about braking later than them. At our level, it all comes down to rider ability. I can 100% guarantee you that if we put a Moto(pick one) guy on your FZ6 and sent them out in I or A group on a normal day they would blow everybody's doors off except maybe the top 1%.1 point

The fz is very capable and I don't trust your coach. That being said don't even consider a 1k, you will slow your progression.1 point

I had a great day. With the bike running well, I was able to get into the 1:46 range. That was a 9 second improvement over last time out. If that progress can be expected every time (and I think it can) I'll be knocking on 37s soon. Regardless, it was a thrill to be WOT in 6th banging off the limiter around the kink. Weeee!!!1 point

And moonshine... which then will lead to awkward conversations about showers... lol1 point

I can bypass that with a pocket knife in 5 seconds. So it is worthless. I secure mine with gravity and insurance. Nobody want to push a 650 lb bike too far and I hope they do so I can get a new one.1 point

You're welcome my son. There was an H4 in the garage next to us yesterday. Amazing machine.1 point

I would have a major problem with someone passing me like that. I'd probably have to talk it out with them. The only time I've passed strangers in the same lane is when I get behind large group of Harleys on a curvy road. I have no problem weaving through their rolling road block.1 point

We completed a road survey of Ohio 255 and it feels fine. As was stated it has a nice rhythm and flow to it. Ohio 255 Video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEjJYabkgCM&t=6s1 point

Tim: I've led a group of between 5 and 10 folks from LocalRiders from Cinti to Abingdon on our first day's ride to the BRMC for the last three years. Always stayed at the Super 8 there (Exit 17 off I-81) and had zero problems. If you're looking for hot tubs, swimming pools, workout rooms, and a 4-course breakfast, fuggedaboudit. But it's always been cheap, clean, no bed bugs, staff was efficient and personal at check-in/-out, and there's a free continental breakfast available. Easy access to gas/fast food/highway, no parking lot issues with security, and a big box store (Food City) within walking distance to pick up beer/wine/snacks. Unless things have changed dramatically since last September, I see no issue with booking there.1 point

Hi guys, I'm new so thanks for the board! I ride throughout MI, IN and OH. I race a lot of motocross but also have Yamaha R6. I figured it's time I look into an easy way to secure my bikes from theft. A good friend of mine bought one of these and really likes it *** REMOVED SPAM LINK *** and it looks like it will work on dirt bikes or street bikes. What do you guys think of it? What do you use? Thanks!-1 points
