I don't claim to know fuck all about racing, but I do know technology.
This is pretty much the same argument every time new technology comes along. There's no way launch control, or wheelie control, or traction control, or even a quick shifter can do better than a skilled, experienced racer. Until they do. Ask Josh Hayes.
Added a set of $20 saddle bags. Found them on the Facebook marketplace. They are not horrible. But if I like the idea I may pick up a set of the nice ones that can be removed quickly.
The ABS is linked. I don't back it in and for that matter I haven't been on track with anyone actually backing it in. Maybe Knapp or some others but I didn't witness it firsthand. Those guys are at a different level than the average club racer though.
I think the tuck situation depends on what is causing the tire to lose traction. if it's purely too much cornering force then no it won't help. If it's because you apply too much brake while cornering then I think it would, you can lock the front at full lean while it's almost impossible while upright.
I fully believe the comment above about new technology, humans just cannot do things better or faster than a computer.
Nivin, I would like to not be a group leader on this event. I'd like the opportunity to follow for once Especially a few of these roads I'm not very familiar with.
Hey guys it is with some guilt that I am finally able to post up. Many times I tried but just could not seem to be able to finish. The last few weeks have been really tough mentally, physically and emotionally. The surgeon is confident that the tumor has been totally removed so that is a good thing. The bad is my liver is fooked. Today was chemo training and what kind of chemo they are going to hit me with. Gonna be at least 6 months worth and hope for the best. That starts in 4 more days. It sure was a kick in the ass after only been retired for just over a month. I owe our own Nivin a huge load of gratitude. Yes he is part of my renal group and a decision that he made turned around one large obstacle that was causing some me some major issues. Thank you my friend I will forever be grateful. So that's pretty much it for now.
Thanks to each and everyone of you guys and gals for the good wishes. Bless you all. Maybe one day I'll be able to shake your hands and thank you in person.
