Just a deck of cards. I'll win what I need. ...In that little tail box and waterproof bag I have...6 days worth of clothes, swim stuff, shoes, a few days worth of food, mini air compressor, tools for any number of mishaps, emergency supplies, chain lube, bug spray, rain gear, shower stuff, etc. I was a Marine, I know how to pack3 points

If the DRZ was fuel injected, I'd own it in a heartbeat. CRF450L looks to be in my future though.2 points

Went for a ride with Dad yesterday. First thing he says is, "I've been working on my wheelies". He loves doing them now. Is disappointed he can't hold them for long, but I think he'll get it before too long.2 points

The Roamr and myself are at the Econolodge in Marion, VA for the night. We ended up slabbing to Parkersburg and then took 50 to Ellenboro and rode 16 to here. 470 miles for me, I wasn’t sure that I could still ride that much in a day. Planning on riding the Snake tomorrow, then heading to Townsend.1 point

People always look at me fun when I go on week long vacations with just a backpack. Was Army, but same packing disciplines in the infantry ☺️1 point

Leaving this afternoon sometime. Stopping tonight at Whispering Hills RV Park, near Lexington. Will get in tomorrow early afternoon. Staying across the street at the campground. Believe @Danimal is staying with me or at least on the same spot.1 point

That would be awesome. Nothing would be more epic than an old guy in overalls wheelie past a group of young posers ?1 point

Alright kids, I'm going to walk you through this long, strenuous, difficult process. Grab a sammich and adult beverage and settle in. Take the old title to the title office. For "vehicle type" mine had ORV (or something similar) noted. Note: I had just bought the bike, so was xferring title as well. Told the lady that I wanted to convert to a street title. She grabbed a piece of paper, slid it across the counter, and told me to sign it. States that I've done everything to make it street legal. Signed it, slid it back to her, and she slid me my new street title. Done. Finish your sammich. Then start shopping for whatever dirt bike you thought would kick ass on the street.1 point

Brotha, I just had my 1st track day and I hope you got extra money laying around because it is an expensive hobby. Assuming you got all your gear ready, all that is left is the bike prep which isn't too overwhelming for novice. I went ahead and prepped my bike as if I was ready for advanced (safety wire, changed the coolant, removed mirrors etc) just for the added experience and safety. Just go down the list that was nicely provided to you above one by one and make sure all the requirements are met. As stated, you will start in novice and will be following a coach with more restrictions than intermediate and advanced but even though your hands will be a bit tied at first, it's a great time to learn the track lines and build confidence in your technique and still have fun. If you haven't signed up yet get on it.1 point

I’ve passed a ride of theirs. Got 12 or 13 of them in full tuck on 600s and 1000s thru hocking. I was on my dirt bike with street tires sitting upright waving. They were definitely topping their abilities out, not sure about topping bikes out. Wheelies. 2nd gear light pressure on rear brake clutch it up with about 2000 extra rpm stay steady on the throttle and use the rear brake to control the height1 point
