I am all set up for Tellico Plains, TN. March Moto Madness 26-29th. I will be roosting gravel /mud and splashing water crossings for the most part but will report on the curvy asphalt connectors that are so popular with the asphalt crew.😃

I'm a retired 70 year old, having lived my entire life outside of Malta. Well, except for that period when the army said "I want you!" Like I had a choice, in 1968.
My first bike was a 1966 Honda Dream 300. I purchased that in 1972. I am currently riding a 2000 Honda Magna, and occasionally tow a mono-wheel trailer full of camping gear.
I just got a phone call from an old Hayabusa buddy. He is going to the Hayas in the Hills rally 5/10- 5/17. He is staying at the Phillips motel in Robbinsville. I am going to start planning to go down there for this. Anybody interested?
My first real street bike was a 77 RD400. I too have a soft spot for 2 smokes and have owned several. As much as I used to hate pulling 4 carbs, 4 or 6 or 8x to get things right it seems less annoying now. Mellowing in my old age. Classic M/C are indeed very cool and when ridden, deliver a measure of visceral enjoyment modern bikes can't match...
