Welcome aboard! As you get into group riding remember the golden rule. Ride your own pace no matter how fast the group is going. Do not push it. Any group from here will wait for you at the next turn, and truly does not care if they have to wait. In fact it will make them happy that you are riding your own pace. Any group that won't wait, or tells you to speed up is a crap group and you should leave it immediately.4 points

425 miles. Had a great ride. Had decent BBQ (not awesome, but warm and convenient) and good company. I rode Jason's 2008 K1200GT. Nice bike, FAST.... but cramped. WV-20 is partially repaved. WV-7 is brilliant, as always. 250 is becoming mainstream and I will begin to quietly shun it for the rest of this season. OH-800 is always a treat.3 points

Why must you persist? If you don’t want to eat it, don’t. I ate it and it was okay. And there is no need to disparage people in West Virginia just because you’re bored. Why don’t you actually go ride a motorcycle ? Oh right, you don’t actually have one? see, I’m not just being nice. 😂😂😂3 points

HD had its heyday, but all things come to an end. This is what happens when you build your product on an ideal, rather than market research. Good. Maybe one of them will buy my Ducati.3 points

Hi newbie rider..... Please take to heart..... The classic saying on being a new rider--- You first get a full bucket of luck and an empty bucket for skill. When you start out, you are mostly using up the luck bucket. Your job is to fill up the skill bucket before the luck bucket runs out. Best wishes and welcome to riding. - Practice as much as you can, and find a more experienced buddy to ride with and ask lots of questions..3 points

The day started off early enough in Carrollton, Ohio at 9:30 am. Muckles having decided against a long slab ride there and back decided to trailer it down from Cleveland to the Tractor Supply on route 43 North on the north side of town. @Skinny guy was kind enough to allow Muckles to lead for a time. Muckles apparently has a knack for planning routes with closed roads. Muckles subsequently found a handy web site for closed roads. https://www.ohgo.com/ They took route 43 out of Carrollton to route 9 south to St. Clairsville. Due to the closure of 9 farther south a detour was executed across 70 to catch 800 south. After having to double back on route 148 due to a route 26 closure, the executive decision was made to have @Skinny guy take the reins. They then followed 800 to the junction with 26. The weather was warmer than expected at about 85*, but perfect for the carving the shaded 26 and Archers fork Rd down to see St. Mary's. WV proceeded to be very adventurous with roads not nearly a maintained as the riders would have liked. Route 16 out of St. Mary's introduced the duo to washed out roads reduced to one lane and heavy truck traffic. Though between the obstacles there were some fantastic sections of twistie roads on the way to Smithville. Once at Smithville they cut across a short section of 47 to 74 North. 74 came complete with a deer and tortoise Slalom race and hillbilly dodge-um practice. Though the road did not disappoint and was a blast up to the junction with 18 in Joseph's Mill, WV. They continued up route 18 to route 180 and up to New Martinsville where they meandered up route 7 to 556. Good thing they took thier time as the sheriff's were waiting on 7 for the outlaw bikers to slip up so th6e could slap them with a gigantic speeding ticket. Route 556 was fantastic fun up to Beallsville when they connected with 145. The rest of the run was a repeat of 148 to 800 to 799 to Deersville, OH. they went around Tappan Lake on Deersville Ridge Road to 250. As it was getting late they decide to take 646 to 151 to 332 into Carrollton. It was an amazing journey. Many lessons were learned and planning for the next epic adventure had begun!2 points

I found two GoPro clips of double island road. I don't think this is the whole road and it was a wet day. Thought it might give you a glimpse.2 points

I think you're just being kind. I've never heard of whatever it is. Why would you leave the cheese uncooked? That just sounds very odd however , given the location of the restaurant, it makes total sense. Fuckin 'billies.1 point

Pizza. They cook it with just sauce and regular toppings first. Add cheese at the end so it is hot but not melted. It's really good. @Wahoo and @ricer1 will back me up on this.1 point

Ok, so the dude that got shot in Atlanta.....that was a good shoot. People need to apply some common sense to what they are protesting, otherwise they loose credibility.1 point
