Tinker less ride more would be my recommendation. People always seem to try to squeeze "moar powa" out of bikes and usually just make them unreliable and give them problems. Just seems like a rabbit hole I never want to go down, but thats just me. These machines are engineered for long term reliability why mess with that?
there's been a ninja 250 (older ones) at the last 2 track days I was at. I think they were both in novice.
the 250 she'll ride is better than the 650 she think is too heavy or whatever. I've fought that battle before
I spent some time with Chris on Saturday and he had me focus on my hand grip and that helped me a ton feel more comfortable. I hope to make it to Pitt Race in October.
