I and my friends have run so many intercoolers on lots of applications open with no grill protection, never have had one puncture. Idk if it's luck or it's just not necessary. (Been doing it since highschool, over a decade.) Bugs are a different story though haha. But no punctures.

I remember someone posting a link to either an article or a video that explained why tires wear a certain way at the track. I searched but couldn't find it. Anyone remember this? Sent from my iPhone.

I havent had any issues since. There was bad corrosion within the connectors that was causing the wires to get hot and melt. It has not happened since. I need to find a triumph dealer around here now to see if that recall has been completed and if not to get it fixed.

I dont think it's been done. I have had issues with that, the connectors were melting so I cut them and soldered them together. Where did you have that recall done? Did it cost anything to you?
