I never had any issues with noise on mine either. And mine was mounted to the FRONT of my windscreen, so there was nothing cutting down on the wind. Do you have to sound level at the lower(est) setting. Don't have mine anymore but I remember there were two sound level settings, and you always wanted to use the lower one.

Wow. Didn't hear anything about this. Guess it wasn't newsworthy enough because an armed person actually stopped it. Stupid media.

I believe they are not worth the money because I thought you could get an average car nowadays that gets almost as good mpg or better. Besides, have you seen them?

I wish people would make up their minds what they want in tech already! First their were pc's... - then people wanted smaller... laptops - then people wanted even smaller... netbooks - again, even smaller... smartphones - oh wait, maybe bigger is better... ipad/tablets - or maybe smaller... mini ipad For the love of god pick a damn size already! So the initial firing triggers an automatic shock, did not know that. I see that you can initiate additional shocks afterwards, figured the first one had to be initiated too. good to know.
