us guys up north are going to have a get us a trailer so rob can tow us down with him when he goes to bolivar. i've briefly considered doing the same thing before, but it didn't quite strike me as to just how much better it is to do it that way until i saw him rolling in on his truck, all comfy and tires not squared off.

i got my dad a GPS thingie for golf or something or other. then, when we went to plug the GPS thing into his computer, the computer made loud exploding noises and I had to lend him my laptop for the rest of the week so we could finish making it work. my laptop survived the install. needless to say, the amount of porn i had to delete before handing over said laptop was probably the most I've ever had to give as a gift, and more than i was willing. i will probably put him in a nursing home prematurely for this sacrifice that was forced of me.

hey, sorry i wasn't there to help out. i turned around at the bottom of 536 with bambam when the cbr1000rr didn't show up, but i got stuck behind a couple cars, so by the time i was halfway through 536, a couple people had already passed me on the other side telling me to turn around and go back, so i did. i was the one in front of him down 536, so i hope it wasn't anything i did. the first mile or so, i kept my eye out for him since i wasn't sure if he had ridden the road before, and it seemed like he was keeping up just fine, so i went back to paying attention to the road in front of me (536 scares the crap out of me, so it was hard for me to look at my mirrors). it sounded like the damage was minimal and better yet, he was unhurt, so i'm glad. minus that, the ride was pretty awesome. got to meet some new people, meet up with people i haven't seen in a while, and ride some new (terrifying) roads. man, 255 was in great shape... too bad it's so damn scary. all in all a great ride.

iron pony has fieldsheer 2pc suits for 350 or something like that. but buying a used set of leathers is probably the best way to go if you're looking for cheap. if you have money, buy a nice set of RS Taichi's or something like that.

aww come on, don't hate on core. even though there are only about 8 of us who post there regularly, we get together to ride just about every rideable weekend. core's been a small group for some time, and it probably always will be. also, i don't think kathy associates herself with core anymore. at least, i haven't seen her post the whole time i've been there, which is about 3-4 years. threadjack over welcome will! i just joined over at desmohio not too long ago. one day i'll wander over to the clubhouse and hopefully, i won't get shot at by paintballs.

yeah, we were looking out for you guys, and we did see one other group of a variety of bike (i think earache was one of them, i saw the yellow duc monster) but by then we were on our way out i think. i guess sometimes there is a fine line between being upfront/honest and being arrogant, and in this case, a lot of people saw it as being the latter. or maybe they just have daddy issues. who knows. in either case, we're here to ride, so i hope to see you bitches this saturday, mother nature willing.

woah, that is pretty crazy. i've had work done by him on my old F4i back when i was in columbus, and never had any problems with him. actually, i was pretty happy with the work he did... but then again, he didn't keep my bike for over 2 months. i hope this gets worked out cause this doesn't sound like him at all. i'd gladly offer info if i had any, but i haven't talked to him in years and i've lost touch with him over the last 3-4 years.
