If you just want pure grip with no thought of longevity or practicality, get yourself some racing slicks, and a set of warmers and stands (front and back) to carry around with you so every time you go ripping up the back roads, dragging elbows and knees, you'll know that you're on the stickiest shit in the whole wide woooooorld Seriously though, you can get a set of Pirelli slicks that don't need warmers, and are supposed to wear pretty well and are presumably very sticky. I don't remember what they're called though. Not to be confused with actual racing slicks.

typically in motoseries, there is at least 1 "free" session for novice (more often, 2), but the coaches will get together and discuss whether the class is ready to be let loose or not. i wasn't there, so I don't know what happened, but that's the norm. were there a lot of crashes in novice? that all said, i've ridden with every org except track tactics (and i've heard nothing but good things about them) and every one runs their program just a bit differently. back when i rode with STT (and I rode with them a LOT when i started) they ran a more similar setup where the last 1 or 2 sessions were open sessions. i would like to know what happened with the girl who started riding on her own though.

What the living expenses like? I didn't know if Saipan is one or those places that are super cheap but full of drug cartels or super safe but super expensive (kinda like Hawaii). Looks nice, are there go kart tracks?

i've never tried the q3, but the q2 is a very capable tire and i've heard nothing but great things about the q3 and that its at least a minor improvement over the q2. that all said, i never pass up cheap tires. i generally save up a few hundred for every winter so i can snap up cheap race tires where i can find them. i'd say if you're not running mid pack to upper advanced lap times, you probably won't notice the difference between any of the street tires meant for a balance of track day/street riding (specifically, Q2/Q3, pilot power, power 2ct, pures, etc). buuuuuuut, track riding is a LOT about your comfort level and trusting your tires, so you should go with what makes you feel most confident.
