  1. Welcome. Plenty of people to ride with here that ride at a good pace, not race. You'll find em.
  2. uhh, 55, dry, and a weekend. its a 400 mile trip, gotta work to pay for this shit.
  3. Wait, did you get a new bike, Tom? How did I miss that? Another 919? I see a squared symbol up there.
  4. There are a few HD and cruiser guys here. Come hang out, in reality most of us don't give a shit what you ride as long as you're not a tool. Every one I ride with is on a sportbike except Moose. Hell, even he has a sportbike now.
  5. Thanks, everyone. Might not have to wait quite as long on this bike. it's a little faster than the Spirit. As of now, much quieter too. Sounds electric compared to the pipes on the Honda.
  6. Talked to my uncle, said that was great post to get into. He said just go over and sign up, shouldn't have any problems. Free Saturday afternoon?

  7. I've been wanting to get a bigger bike for a while and have been debating on buying used or new. Looking at maybe a new Honda cruiser, also checked out a Triumph Thunderbird, and some various Harleys. Decided to to just go for it and get my dream bike, so I bought a 2010 HD Softail, the Fat Boy Lo. Stock, Denim(Flat) Black. Don't have to do much to get it looking the way I want it, but I'm sure there a few things, I went Freakin' love it. Love the looks, and those of you that tear into HD's for comfort haven't ever ridden a newer model. This thing rides and handles much better than my Shadow. Feels more agile, actually feels lighter, and compared the old bike, feels like I'm in a luxury car on the highway. Couldn't be happier. Some crappy pics, I'm exhausted and don't feel like moving it out of the garage right now. The Shadow Spirit is going up for sale if anyone is looking, more info tomorrow.

  11. As of now, I can do any of those dates. Subject to change.
  12. I'm sure we will rise out of our graves as the the sun comes up. No mods this year. Haven't even looked at my bike since November.
  13. Okay, Shallowtail website is up. Not 100% yet, but getting there. Please let me know if you see something not functioning, misspelled or just plain stupid. http://www.shallowtail.com/ If something really looks off to you,Can let me know what browser you are using? Also, if you know, your monitor resolution and what version of Flash. I snaked the code from a template, should be pretty compatible with most configurations, but there is always someone still running Netscape 4 at 800x600. New demos are posted at the site as well if interested. Recorded live a few weeks ago at John Schwab. Not perfect, but should be a good feel for what we sound like live. Waiting on a few show confirmations still, Possible two in April and two in May that I know of. Come June, we hope to be playing out twice a month at minimum. We should also be regulars at acoustic open mics on Fridays at Bethel Pub, along with Hwilli and some of his musically inclined friends. I'm pretty sure we're are going to be there Friday the 12th. Our site and Facebook will more than likely be the best place for updates. Thanks for the support so far, hopefully we'll see a few OR members at some shows.
  14. Just be picky if it's something you plan on using more than once. Some of their stuff is real junk. You can find some quality bargain tools though, and a great place to pick up consumables like zip ties, bolts, rags and such. There are 2 retail stores in Columbus, I usually stop by when I am in the neighborhood.
  15. St Louis. Let's stay here. http://www.moonrisehotel.com/ Looked sweet when I was there last week, didn't get to go in though, but it is a little pricey. Ride there is pretty damn boring though.
  16. That is one of the funniest damn things I ever ever read on here. Lance, What are you putting together, I thought you sold the bikes? About riding & camping... maybe if it's warm.
  17. Unless they changed something, you shouldn't have any issues. Edit: Just checked, unless they are real old manual lenses, you're good, but any EF lenses are okay.
  18. Okay, looked again. When on the left, the large empty areas were being created by people that have giant sigs. That's what threw me off. It's fine. And you should never give people a choice. You could spend a week showing people left and top, and still get wishy washy folk like me making it difficult.
  19. yep. This is what I deal with all day every day. Nice to be on the other end. Do whatever you want though, either way is visually okay.
  20. uhh, okay, maybe I don't like to the left. Can you make it so the info box is smaller? Seems like a bunch of wasted space in between posts. Is that how it was an hour or so ago? looks odd now.
