  1. Yea, we found out he didn't have a license at the excuse session after the run. You need to talk to the dumbass though, he says he knows and rides with you. Then he tells us after I told him Jinx was planning to out ride him that just because we ride with you doesn't mean Jinx was going to be able to out ride him. There are a whole lot of other stupid things this guy said that you just had to be there to appreciate. I did check my GPS for maximum speed it reads 142. The baby provides a lot of drag, so this was by no means a high speed endeavor.
  2. +1 on the XX, the tail bags I am using now to hold the baby on I used on my XX. With a tank bag added to the mix I could carry everything I wanted. The seat was an issue for me riding two up though. It's one seat and my passengers couldn't stay on it where they wanted. For me the busa was better two up. YMMV.
  3. Apparently one of Udell's best friend and riding buddy (I kid, I kid.) likes to challenge people to highway runs for $300. A few of us were standing around BSing when this guy comes up to us and asks "Whose bike is this?" The bike is a guys I ride with who just happens to have nitrous on a 2006 GSXR1000, the bike has a pipe and a power commander on it also. GSXROwner tells him that it is his, and then the guy asks him if he wants to run him down 90 from 254 to 83 for $300. GSXROwner declines the offer because he is currently laid off and can't afford to risk $300. Jinx steps in and says that he will run him using GSXROwners bike because he felt he could afford to lose the money. The guy asks us if we knew what he was riding and that we should come check it out before we committed to anything. We go over to check out this fancy busa with straight Brocks pipes on it but no power adders. We go back over to the 1000 so he can hear it run. Blaa, blaa, blaa Jinx won't use the nitrous, well maybe I'll run you then he says. At this point he really starts to back pedal. It gets down to just a run for no money, no nitrous but it looks like he is going to back out completely. I chime in "He wasn't going to try to out bike you he was going to out ride you." This doesn't set too well with him; in fact it kind of pissed him off. So now it's on. I am going to follow to be a witness. We leave QSL to head for the highway following the busa; he rides right by the entrance ramp, WTF. He pulls into the gas station just past it to get gas, okay maybe it's still on. He goes in to pay for his gas but when he comes back out he wants Jinx to purge the nitrous system to insure it was empty and not going to be used. Okay, no big deal we pull the bottles off and put them in my bags with the baby. He is to lead and Jinx will react. Off to the highway we go. Down the entrance ramp we go, out into the passing lane, clear traffic for quite some distance, busa hits it, Jinx hits it and I'm trying to stay with them but they are pulling me. If any of you know this section of 90 it has two sweepers and a kink between the sweepers. We really don't start moving until the middle of the first sweeper so they pull me all the way to the kink. Busa boy checks up for the second sweeper, Jinx checks up with him just playing around with the guy. I buzz both of them with my 600; hey the run was to 83 not to where you thought it was too fast to go through the sweeper. Jinx decides that he isn't going to let a 600 beat him so he hunts me down and kills me before we get to 83. First run busa boy last. The light at the top of the exit ramp is green so we turn left to make the return run back to QSL. The light for the entrance ramp is red so I move over and let the busa up front. Through the first turn on the ramp, busa and Jinx side by side, on the straight before the second ramp turn busa takes off, Jinx responds and is pulling away, I pass busa boy in the second ramp turn, get out on the highway before him and am waiting for him to come around me. Jinx is gone but this guy doesn't come around me. Okay first sweeper he'll come around when the road straightens out, nope, where did Jinx go I can't see him, kink, cool maybe this will slow him down some and he still isn't by me. Second sweeper coming up, shit here he comes he's going to eat me now, I see him now, damn he's on my ass, Jinx is still so far ahead that I can't see him. Watch the road if he goes around, he goes around, you’re only riding a 600 with bags and a baby waving to everyone no shame in a busa beating you on a highway run. I come out of the sweeper and he is sooo far back that there is no way he can catch me by the time we get to the exit ramp. I see Jinx up on the ramp now; I guess he slowed down to wait for us. I beat the guy to the ramp, are you kidding me, no way is he going to come back in the parking lot behind us. No shit this dumb fucker is coming in behind us, wow, I don't think I could have done it after talking so much shit and letting a 600 smoke you. He parks and walks over to us like nothing even happened and said something about how his stretched bike wouldn't turn and how he was afraid of running up on a semi blaa, blaa, blaaa. I asked him if he saw the baby waving to him. I don't think he likes me too much. We are definitely not going to be best friends.
  4. I missed this post after 4:30, were some of the guys with you Inya from here? Thanks for introducing me to them. Fucker. You left too soon, guys on chromed, stretched out Busas are hilarious.
  5. Weather permitting, see you there.
  6. Missed the spanking but caught the stoppie. I might try to make it out there some Sunday. Coshocton has some very nice roads guess it would be cool do discover some more from you guys.
  7. Free to anyone who shows up. Every Thursday 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM free food (Hamburgers and hotdogs.) and free drinks (Non alcoholic.) Stop in before going to QSL and save some money.
  8. QuikZX9R were you at the gas station when us Cleveland guys came through? Didn't someone there mention you guys meet there a 1:00 on Saturdays for rides?
  9. I'm going to make it to Kennedys for FREE burgers but don't know if I'm going to make QSL. Are the stunters going out at 8:00?
  10. Anyone remember voting for this road?
  11. Thanks, I could just imagine trying to ride that road sometime without adult supervision and end up in the barbwire. I noticed in last years ride you rode some down on the southwest side of town and it got me thinking you could come up with a loop around town just like the boys in Columbus have 270. The loop would need a name though. Something like the paved goat trail loop, pony launcher loop, Coshocton dare trail. You could hold time trials on it just like the Columbus people do. Big fun.
  12. Adam, can you point out the uphill blind left hand turn that had a bunch of gravel in it? The first one you slowed us all down for, and any other turns we should be aware of. Thanks.
  13. Happy birthday! So what were the much anticipated birthday plans she was making for you?
  14. Sorry Inya, I might have to disagree with you just a little about them not going on this ride. 555 is a destination road, most of us have ridden it because it's a destination road. It holds something different for everyone. There are people riding cruisers, Goldwings, sport bikes and Harleys on it. Everyone riding it has a different skill level and riding experience. Some people start out with liter bikes and don't actually kill themselves. It's up to the person riding it to decide their own risk level. The road is no joke and can bite anyone at any time but not trying it is just not an option once you know about it. Are there better options for inexperienced riders, most certainly and kudos to you for making them aware of the dangers of this road. I think the road is fun as hell and wish it was closer to home but I can also see how some would not like it. My warnings for the road are that it seemed to have about five to eight miles of dirty road and I mean every corner, left, right and the middle of the road. Watch out for tar snakes and assume most right handers have gravel in them. Ride within your skill level and come home safe.
  15. Be careful here guys, this could be a trick. We were supposed to get a cookout on our ride this past weekend and all we got was lead around some paved goat paths for several hours and sent home hungry. I'm just saying, be prepared.
  16. Hey, what happened to the cookout? I was robbed.
  17. Your lucky you had your helmet (should have been mine) locked up or I would have taken it for safe keeping.
  18. Bike looks great and those 250s rock. I think your daughter needs some goggles though. (minus the straight pins)
  19. I'm taking my welcome back you fucker. Paula and I were going out to get something to eat tonigh so we go up to QSL. The place was a mad house so we didn't stay but what do I see in the parking lot. Richie and your bikes, thanks for calling asshole.
  20. I can't take credit for naming the 14 the "electric" bike that was Kaustabha. I can understand how he couldn't hear though, his exhaust sounds mean. I didn't get to witness any of the pony launching. I thought the sulky would be okay but the kid riding looked to be in trouble. That's what the little fuckers get for using the roads we pay for and leaving shit all over them.
  21. 751 was great, are you dyslexic or did we take the wrong road? I don't think you guys have any bad roads down there. I don't trust newly paved roads though so we took it kind of easy on that part. Last year on 555 after it was repaved I discovered newly paved asphalt is slippery.
  22. The baby had fun too; I hear it likes to point out the inside of the curves to everyone. Don't tell children’s protective services about the pins in its head holding the goggles on they're already not happy about me riding around with the baby in the first place. I carry a rainbow of zip ties, an air compressor, tire patch kit, duck tape and a bunch of tools; you never can tell what you'll need. Some Ivy conversation we had was about NinjaNicks "electric" bike. I like the sound of a good aftermarket exhaust (That 1098 just sounds awesome.) however; I really appreciate a stock exhaust. We were talking about the 14 pulling so hard but it wasn't making any sound doing it, like it was an electric bike, really cool to witness. Duc1098rdr was telling some good stories about omgshesaboy who some of you might not know is his son. Pat to my understanding doesn't ride much but wow he can hang with what seems like very little experience. Watch out for that GPS maximum speed verification, it can get you. I tease him about being one lucky kid (He got to ride the 1098 for some of this ride.) but really I envy him for being luck enough to be able to ride with his father. Memories that not all are luck enough to have but cool to watch happen. Cool of his dad for not having a huge problem with his son participating in some spirited riding.
